Another way to put it is "You don't have the ultimate item in Tear anymore that lets you poke people down with super-heavy nukes until you can finish off the 10% remaining with your leap, but now you can just build like, say, Zed and hurt people earlier anyway". Lux's Lucent Singularity also applies a 0.25 second slow to targets hit by the detonation Dat ninja buff. And I still can't quite swallow the Nautilus nerf. "Hey, dude-that's-nearly-ignorable-because-you-get-oom-fast-and-have-nothing-once-your-shield-is-down! We just reduced the shield damage by 24% too 'because you hurt when you snowball'. Enjoy your mid/late game in drawn-out fights now." I'd like Lux's ult not to trigger her passive either, because when she snowballs the additional damage hurts so much! Zzz bullshit. | ||

I don't think this will make him that much worse in mid lane or top lane. He'll still be a solid pick for either lane. You'll probably evolve Q instead of R though. Which is the biggest impact of this change imo. | ||

I don't think he'll be picked for his poke anymore, and his assasination potential is much higher with Q E R evolves. The problem with not evolving R is you have so spend so much more time in close now. I could be wrong but this is what I see. I really don't see much benefit to W anymore other than farming and Hydra can give that to you. | ||

Zed on the other hand... :p With muramana, perhaps look towards reducing the damage on the active slightly, but reduce mana drain somewhat more drastically. Also: Poros have gone through an 80s action movie training montage and now have some resistance to lasers Ha. Also, it seems like they really did buff the jungle quite abit, exp-wise anyways. Since you can just Blue-Red for a level 3 (instead of small camp-Blue-Red), you can generally save a potion on the clear, and a full clear should put you firmly at level 4. I'm interested in see how these changes pan out. Removes the DGolem advantage for blue side, which is always good. EDIT: Also, did they remove the Magic Damage on-Hit on Wits End? If so...eh. I do approve of the new Magic on-hit for Nashors and removing Malady in general. Also massive Wriggles buffs, wheeee. | ||

It will still hurt a lot come late game and applying a 20% slow across an entire enemy team is really strong in a team fight. R looks more attractive with 50% damage reduction while stealth, sure, but I dunno if it's worth losing out on the utility of a 1000 ranged AoE slow on a champion with a 900 range leap. Hydra is already a decent item on Kha'Zix. If you early evolve W it's still gonna give you crazy farm potential. And it's not like you need Hydra or W to insta-clear waves in top lane anyway, unevolved W can still hit all the ranged or melee minions if you get up close to splash and very few champions can shove the lane really hard in top so it's not like Kha'Zix insta-clear is necessary in top lane like it is in mid. I think Q first will be pretty common after the patch. E will have to be second, maybe first even. W or R is really such a toss up that it'll likely be a choice you make game by game rather than defaulting to just one. | ||

I think if you can't flash skarner ulti, that could put him back to viable, because then you'll either blow flash before he gets in flash grab range, OR he flash grabs and you die because you come out in bad position and slowed. Jungle change is going to help him a lot I think. Since he's not really a bush camping jungler, he wants to jungle constantly until ult is up, and then camp lanes. | ||
