Every person from overseas I've known who's come to USA and was treated to Starbucks all remark that it tastes like hot water being filtered by a dirty gym sock.
So yea Starbucks sucks and by far not a good measure of good coffee/tea/whatever.
Edit: Come to think of it, think they said that of all coffee they've had in America. Not even a coffee drinker myself, but wouldn't object to a cup when traveling overseas in Europe.

Fyi, Starbucks coffee is all burnt. Starbucks has two kinds of coffee called Blonde Roasts (Veranda and Willow) and those are literally the only two kinds of beans they have that aren't burnt. If you drink a lot of coffee you can notice the burnt taste.
There aren't many mom and pop shops though so Starbucks is, for most Americans, the best coffee they can get their hands on. If you go to a Starbucks and order a latte or something and the person making it has been with the company for a few years they can probably make a pretty good latte though.

Dunno what you guys are talking about. But I can't play league in the morning without my cup of coffee.

im sure chain smokers cant play ranked without their smoke to relieve stress

I don't know a single person who goes to Starbucks for the coffee. You go there with your laptop, and look like you're important. And they have good music there. It's also where all the "mainstream hipsters" go

I drink Starbucks and Seattle's Best because it's on my college meal plan, but if I have some extra cash I always go to a local coffee shop just off campus. The coffee is so much better.

Same reason fast food is popular too. A slow decline of intellect into convenience.

People are working on their own translations so those will probably be in the Reddit thread soon enough.

Coffee and Tea as far as I am concerned is the cornerstone of modern civilization. It's allowed for so much good in the world and more intellectual growth then I could spend time listing here. *thwack*
If you can place your kind of coffee good or bad on nearly every block in a few nation then of course it's going to become the standard. Really you should do it yourself ideally but that's just my own opinion of course.
League general is still on topic as gaming and caf go hand in hand*stretch*

I drink coffee because Ineed it to stay awake in class. I drink tea cuz its awesome. Do note that almost always gold per min goes up later on. He won't be averaging 414 during the first 8 minutes. If you go through anyone's matches, you will see that their gold per min generally goes way up starting midgame(unless they're feeding and their team is getting crushed). The reasons are faster farming, towers and dragons, along with more frequent kills in general.
that's why i said on average

theres some pretty hipster places with decent coffee in the us right? i went to this place by my school, they had a pretty nice chai (expensive as heck though).
EDIT:
cuz i'm a huge TPA fanboy, diamondprox neglects to mention that with their "simple" split push/disengage strat, TPA's solo lanes just straight up won lane. balls and stanley outfarmed alex and darien pretty hard.
