Well, if Reginald kicked Chaox mainly for his mistake/behaviour then I am fine with it. But not given the guy a second chance is really something odd here. I feel like Reginald and Chaox had something between them and Reginald kicked Chaox for personal reasons more than a professional one. One thing Chaox did wrong is you don't mess with your boss .
Chaox take it like a champ though, I didn't really like Chaox but now I have respect for him.
Also, what Dyrus mean by " The girlfriend is not the only problem"?

How is this a popular opinion?I really don't understand you guys.
Chaox is regularly late to scrims for no reason. He gets drunk and misses practice before a tournament and doesn't even say sorry I fucked up afterwards when they confront him.If you do this in a real job do you think someone would take this shit?Chaox is just a dbag with a big ego for getting carried by his team from what we've seen.

Getting roflstomped by someone else is not my definition of fun. If cass has no way to win against a competent mid playing the current fotm such as zed or kha, I'd rather not play her. For pretty much any champ, there's a guy in diamond who spammed that champ to get there, so there isn't really a champ that "has no way to win against a competent mid" at the levels of play that you're concerned about.
Cass isn't even some kind of borderline pick like warwick, if you think she's fun, go get good at her. If anything, she's not going to attract any kneejerk bans by Riot anytime soon so learning to get good at her is a lot safer than learning the current FotMs IMO

I love warwick, he makes the plays.

Since their main catchphrase is "Baylife", you can't really blame Chaox for living his life the way he did.
Jokes aside, I think that kicking someone right after benching him is a pretty harsh, if said person has played for that long with you. Giving him ~2 weeks to see if he changes his attitude a bit and turns up to practices in time even if he isn't playing on the LCS matches would have been the most logical choice imo.

Because this is e-sports? Just like any other sports players get treated difference from other jobs. Players from other spots get drunk/misbehave all the time. First they get a warning, then a wage fine, after that may be an suspension. I don't defend Chaox here but at least bench him for a while to let he knows everyone can be replaced. If after that he still behaves like shit, fire him.

Dyrus can basically see with his gf 2 days/week when they go to LA for LCS so he is probably a bit sad every week when he has to go back to the house. I dont think its anything beyond that

There's still a bit of a difference between a regular job and playing pro LoL. Equate it more to traditional sports, players don't instantly get fired even for stuff like a DUI in football or other dumb shit. No one is saying he shouldn't have been punished, just that straight up kicking him off the team seemed hasty.
Edit: said same thing as Caphe lol.

Regi and Chaox not getting along is a reason as good as any to change their lineup. A team needs some cohesion and chemistry to work well together. Now there was a bunch of other reason on top of that, so I see nothing wrong with Chaox getting booted from the team.

Well here in the league time isn't really the same thing as time in regular sports.Honestly if chaox just said:"Sorry guys,I fucked up it won't happen again" instead of that bs of "My sleep schedule was fucked up"(LOL) this wouldn't have happened.Like do you really need to tell someone that you should be at least a little bit serious?

What it really comes down to is Regi saw Chaox as replaceable (His recent attitude not being made up by exceptional performances). If Doublelift had done something similar he'd still be on CLG.

Yeah definitely.Being mediocre and playing a grand total of 1 champion not very convincing.I found it kind of funny when chaox told regi to kick him early in the episode.

I can see where people are coming with players in other sports get leniency but do they if they don't come to practices on time or show up to games barely in time? The partying... whatever but they site his attitude towards not showing up for practice etc. as the main reason, no?

Pretty much this, chaox pretty mediocre in terms of play, there are plenty of rookie talent that could replace him. So as teamleader, regi had the choice of keeping a mediocre passive adc who was negatively impacting the team morale, or picking up a good aggressive adc who has no issues w/ anyone on that team. The answer is pretty fucking obvious.

After watching that full on episode I think people are letting their emotion cloud their judgement with Chaox here. Looked like a pretty unanimous team decision. The whole team was angry at his attitude and conduct, he wasnt particularly contrite about it, the benching was absolutely justified and his replacement played really well. Turtle meshes better with the teams playstyle and it certainly seemed like Regi and Chaox clashed at an in-game level. It was obviously a very hard thing to do because they're all mates, but from a team perspective it was pretty obviously the right call and the whole team could see it.
Regi handled it extremely well. By taking ownership of the decision he probably lost a friend for life, but he did a lot to preserve the personal relationship between Chaox and the other members, making the whole process way smoother. Pretty much changed my whole perception of the guy. Props.
Also Dyrus is such a champ.
