OK, sample size of one, Nasus definitely OP in season 3. 10-1 on my first game with him in months.
OK, not really, but the new items are so helpful for him. Shurelya's still, plus new SV and Iceborn Gauntlet give you everything you need. Maxes CDR, gives you the sheen proc for Q, negatron and glacial shroud for resists, two kindlegems worth of health, plus the Shurelya's active to help you actually get in range to Q someone. Oh, and then the procs from Iceborn slow anyone you Q.
I don't think it'll make him a standard pick, but in lanes where you can farm I think he'll be much stronger. Being able to combine the sheen and glacial shroud into one item is huge, it lets you get strong much earlier. The buildup is also great, since the 6 components for the 3 items are all really good on their own. I was against Vlad, so I ended up with 2 x kindlegem and negatron before sheen or glacial, and it was fine.

I once thought about whether to ask riot for a refund when I bought the 7-rune page bundle right before the 2-for-1 sale they did. I worked out the difference to be about $4 though, which really isn't that much when you think about it (I just got a jar of chocolate covered pretzels for that much, and I'm pretty sure these rune pages are giving me more enjoyment overall than those)

Ahhhh ok, that's probably what it came from - I had also bought Kog during that time frame. That was pretty nice of them, but as someone else said, possibly a bit sneaky as well...

One noob question as I just got the patch today. How would you build an ranged AD carry nowadays? BC stacking or just normal IE/BT/PD + whatever new item you want?

ok, HOW am i supposed to not get blown up as jax. no matter what i build i die in teamfights, ult or no.
last game i went 9-21-0 and had gunblade, hydra, mercs, GA, triforce...even with ult i instantly melt and can't sustain for shit
are you supposed to build REALLY tanky as jungle jax?

General question, I was watching TOO steam and he and his top laner killed a DC'd Skarner while he was walking back to base (they didn't realize it until it was too late, he didn't flash but he just looked like he was taunting TOO's teammate in lane). The enemy Singed was pretty pissed. Is it just an unspoken rule that you shouldn't kill someone while they are DC'd if it can be helped?

I think Scoots really dislikes Riot, especially after the rumors of restricting teams to one MOBA game. Also wasn't there that incident at MLG Dallas with is wife being hit on by a drunk LoL player or something (I think it was Scoots)? Come to think of it I think I remember speculation it was actually someone on CLG.EU (I think someone mentioned it on the Trinity Force Podcast).
Edit: I'm dumb, I was corrected as it was Incontrol's fiance, Anna Prosser. Also it was Lone Star Clash 2. I explained my reasoning for thinking it was a CLG.EU player in a later post. I'll fact check better next time x_x

As to point 1, IDK, but i mean I just played a game where we had 2 DC's early that didn get into the game even till ~ 3mins. I mean 1 kill on a dc'd person isn't really nearly as devastating as that. I had to leave lane to help my olaf clear his first set of camps in the jungle, and like had no pressure vs. a vlad who I kept Wall>Q Q Q ing down but couldn't kill.

The problem with Nasus still is none of the items make his laning phase easier, if anything it makes it worse. Before philo stone use to be a decent pick, cuz nice hp regen, and nice mana regen made you immovable under turret, all while getting you gp10. Sure there's flask, but flask is for skirmish trading regen, not long term regen. The new items make his late-midgame really nice, but reaching that point is still ridiculously difficult as Nasus.
