It would appear that IPL5 is more or less copying TI2's bracket format, with a few minor modifications (4-team groups instead of 8 in the interest of saving time, Bo3 Loser's Bracket, etc.).

What do you guys think about soul shroud? I really like building it on Taric as a main item after a philo or after a giants belt if I get a good few assists early on. It gives him hp, some nice CDR and the mana regen is good as well. It also sort of works decently on Sejauni because of her health scaling and the CDR helps her clear camps and get her ulti up faster.

The thing about soul shroud is that all the stats you get from it, can be itemized way better with earlier items.
Health? AOTL+shurelya's+kindlegem+hog
CDR? shurelya's
Mana Regen? Shurelya's
etc.etc.

Soul Shroud is incredibly underbought. Mana Manipulator is as well--you're essentially paying for the mana regen on yourself, but getting the benefit both for yourself and your AD in lane. Given that the mana regen on your AD is both noticeable and effective on a lot of the ADs of choice bottom lane these days (Corki/Ezreal/Graves all make highly effective use of having 7 more mana regen), it's an option that SHOULD be considered.

I dunno, in current gameplay. This is how botlane plays out 99% of the time, (no more passive botlanes anymore, or it's pretty rarely played). LVL 2 or lvl 3 power play comes out from one side, or bothside in the 2v2. One lane wins, or it ties out, either way people die, and after that it's constant engagement, and after each engagement health limitations is a much bigger contributor of "going back" than "mana". Also, it's really easy to control lane position as a botlane, just shove out lane real quick, and B, you don't really get a chance to benefit from the mana regen.

Soul Shroud might be good buy on Olaf, now that I think about it, instead of going HoG+Philo.

Unfortunately this isn't usually the case. Sometimes you get a couple of fun people in your game and they make it fun, but usually it's still just whoever's doing good wonders why the other people on his team suck and the people doing bad make excuses.

Anybody wanna talk Draven? He seems really strong but I'm not so good at him. Can people really catch all the axes in late game teamfights? I can't keep track of them AT ALL late in the game. There's so much other shit to focus on that I can catch maybe 1 or 2.
