People who think that the aggressive counterjungling will be a problem for the top Asian teams is just nuts.
I mean TSM and M5 are famous for that and Asian teams are famous for their preparation. They will be prepared for this style.

Therefore I think the winner will be an asian team but I am not sure who it will be. Azubu Frost, iG, WE, Najin Sword can all win this. iG depends how they will perform. I watched a lot of games of them and sometimes they just underperform hard.
From Europe we have CLG.EU and M5 who have a chance to win, too.
I have never been a big fan of TSM, which leads me to being biased. ^^ The main problem is that two of the best non asian Teams never played against Asia( except one game from TSM but one game means nothing)

Group A - iG, Azubu`Frost
Group B - CLG.eu, NaJin Sword

and after that it is way too hard to say who will take it.

People forget about home advantage for the american teams. U remember mlg and ipl san francisco? CLG.EU, Fnatic and Sk didnt even make to top 4 for mlg. SGS and world elite just underperform.

Not just that but hyper early game aggression is pretty damn common in the Korean pro scene. Just watch the TSM vs Blaze games from like three months ago. Blaze grouped up and roamed way earlier than any NA or EU teams ever do. And they aren't the only Korean team that plays like that. Invading at level 1 is crazy common in the Chinese scene and has been since as long as I've paid attention to CN LoL.

But yeah, saying that Asian teams won't know how to handle early game aggression or invasions just shows someone's ignorance to the Asian scene.

Very very nice write-up. This brings me back to the good memories of BW proleague finals etc.
Really excited for this and this post just made it even better. Thanks guys, my hope for TL to continue the legacy from BW has just been increased.

I wouldn't count CLG.na out, they have showed some great plays leading up to S2 World Championship and they have that secret file Chauster has l0l

Good Write up. It's interesting to see a different PoV of both CLG's.

CLG.eu to win :D

I want Krepo to destroy either Pepper or Mistake in the finals

[realism mode]
Prediction going to be 1. M5 2. iG 3. CLG.eu
[/realism mode]

I tried to pick teams that don't rely on 1 person carrying them (CLG isn't just reliant on Froggen, you haters!!!!11!).

Awesome writeup, I'm sooo pumped! It will be some long night come the weekend.

If Asia comes in and destroy the competition I'm gonna be so sad. Mainly because I don't think the NA/EU esport-scene can take many more hits like that. I feel most NA/EU organisations will feel disheartened and focus only on regional tournaments. That means we get no NA teams in EU events (and vice versa).

If NA or EU crushes Asia, on the other hand, that will just spur the Asian teams to train harder and S3 will be even more awesome!

Prediction (with heart, not head): TSM, M5 and Frost.

CLGeu has been in Korea for abit, theyve beaten every team atleast once (even frost in some other weekly). Koreans arent that far ahead yet like in sc2

CLGeu SHOULD have beaten Frost in the OGN finals by all means.
But then they went full foreigner.

My predictions:

1. World Elite
2. CLG.eu
3/4. Azubu Frost/Team Solo Mid

WE are gonna show up for once in this tournament and they will destroy every non-Korean team. CLG.eu will destroy everyone except WE. This will be WE's redemption tournament IMO.
