lol i feel like the noob i was a year ago thinking i could carry teams but i kinda need a bit of reassurance. also im pretty shit at abusing the strengths of fotm champs unless they are prepatch diana level (hell I couldnt jungle Rammus for shit when he was scary). Instead im really good at abusing the lack of knowledge of sleeper champs or unpopular champs. some of my best champs are Singed, Karma, Veigar, Hecarim, Caitlyn (ex. for each role minus support). But i still struggle to carry with them when im doing my best. I guess finding my individual mistake would be trivial but rather should i play my favorite/strongest or champs renowned by the mass? | ||

At this elo play with your best champions (picks doesnt really matter i'd say), no point abusing the "op" champs if you played 3-4 games with them when you can stomp with veigar or singed. + you'll feel way more confident on these champions and it's always better if you want to make some plays. ^^ | ||

I lost a game as Jayce at 1500 Elo because it was my first time playing him. I got owned so hard in lane that it was sad. I ended up finally understanding the hero halfway through but it was too late. Just play what you're comfortable with. | ||

If you don't pick meta you get flamed so much and probably instant dodged. Also people are still stuck in the 'ban Kassa omgwtfbbq'. I get flamed a lot for banning champions like Gragas or when sometimes Ali/Blitz. | ||

Seems like 900-1600 is still kassadin, morgana ban 24/7. Hell they didnt even ban malphite before patch, same with diana. lol | ||

Since I hit around the 1400ish area, I haven't seen Kass or Shaco banned. Still a lot of Morg bans though... | ||

I guess it depends of the servers too, dunno about NA, but on EUW kass is real terror at lower elo. Speaking of shaco, not sure what's going on i played 6-7 games yesterday and was matched against or with 2 different shaco main players. Man the clown is annoying. (i love the lvl 2 100% kill mid with tf gold card though) :D | ||

The way I see bans that happen at my elo ~1600-1700s depending on if I'm duo Qing Ban OPs (release zyra, diana on release, diana is falling off, she's banned in about 30% of games from my experience so far) Ban bottom lane playmakers (alistar, blitz sometimes taric) Ban Malphite, shen Ban stuff you don't like, generally skarner, shaco, lee sin, naut and other annoying junglers + morgana. 70% of picks are stuff people are good at rather than what's considered good. It somewhat follows the meta but looking at my history, there's a good amount of xin zhao, eve, twitch a huge amount of amumu and some other random stuff in there. Edit:: Thinking about it, I haven't seen kassadin banned or picked in a long while. Looking at lolreplay, I've had two kassadins picked in the two months out of 150+ games. | ||
