all these moves, to me, make pro lol feel like such an old boys club, and mabye the reason Koreans will take over... Is picking up a player regardless if they play the position you need, or bringing back SYDTKO another chance really superior to running some tryouts?
I know I'm stealing someone elses theory, but as they had said (sorry don't recall) the constant poaching from high level unsponsored teams like team OP are what keeps the high end teams so motivated.
I hate to hate on a guy for getting another chance, but I feel like they could do better.

I hate to hate on a guy for getting another chance, but I feel like they could do better. Player trades happened in Brood War all the time. Granted they happened more slowly and a lot of loops had to be jumped through, but it was not unheard of for a richer team to pick up a really skilled player.
SKT picking up Bisu is the one that really jumps out in my mind. forGG was also picked up to SKT from Hwaseung Oz.
And I'm pretty sure a few months back there were a BUNCH of players jumping around in the SC2 scene. And I read somewhere that Naniwa changes teams quite often in SC2 haha.

Saint talking about it on stream: heard about the voyboy switch saint was considering leading the B team said too many strong voices/opinions (Hotshot, Chauster, Saint) CLG members very arrogant always thinking they are better than everyone - "oh this guy sucks", gets overconfident, then dies - esp. Doublelift says CLG is a very polluted environment had an offer from curse, liquid told him they didn't have a strong shotcaller wanted to start fresh with a new team, still friends with Elementz
That's all I could catch although I missed some.

Holy sht I just laughed so hard

I got a quick question...
If you lose tower top after getting ganked or something should you just continue farming there? or should you just start roaming?
|
keep farming but be ready to help your team for major objectives as they will get 5v4'd
|
Saint going to do an interview on skype with Elementz explaining why he left after the game he is playing right now. Don't think he will stream the interview, but who knows.

This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about? In fact the Korean BW scene if anything supports my logic.

Takes too much time writing something serious about my life during my time when I played games and after I stopped playing games, so I'll just summarize it. Basically, playing this game was a waste of time, and I'm glad I got out of playing games. Unless you try really hard to succeed at this game, give it 100%, and are willing to die to be successful and have the mentality to give it 100% every single day, it's pointless.
LoL is not fun. It's really stressful. I don' get why anybody would play this game for fun. Fun is going out with your friends and girls. Tits are fun. Socializing is fun. LoL is not fun. LoL is just a huge ball of QQers, ragers, and feeders 90% of the time. Being stressed is not fun. Only thing good about LoL is that it helps you deal with fags in real life and stress because you're under constant crappy situations with people online, and you learn to become chill and not let it bother you.
LoL is a waste of time. Spending even one hour every day playing LoL is stupid. Every week you could spend 7 hours learning golf. You get success 100%, it's actually a useful skill in life to have, and you spend time with good people. Playing LoL gets you stressed out, and does not get you good at anything. The reason a lot of people who play a lot of games, I will explain later.
LoL destroys your life. When you play a lot of games and don't talk to people, you become worse at socializing. When you become worse at socializing, you don't want to socialize because you kind of become this loser who sucks at socializing, so you go back to games. Then games become your pleasure because it occupies a lot of your time and thoughts and deceives you into thinking you are doing something with your life. It's like an addiction, and soon you can't stop. Your online reputation, your elo, and your online friends are worth more than tits or friends.
Some people might say LoL is fun, or online friends are better than real life friends, or stuff like that, or LoL is my hobby, I like putting my time into LoL. zzzzz, this is taking too long to write. I'll just say whatever, LoL played moderately for fun is cool if it's not an addiction. High 5.
Good things about games aka scII not LoL yet. If you're good, you get to live in a fucking baller house like EG and get paid. If you give up your life to play and give it 100%, you will get good, like at least top 10 good and live your dream of being a star and playing games for a living. This is legit gaming, you are accomplishing something in your life, and posting results. Casual LoL does none of these things.
Anyways, zzzz taking too long, in conclusion I like not playing games. If you don't play games for one day, then try to play, it gets really boring. Quitting games is good. Tits(or dicks, for you uni) and friends are more fun than games. Real life is less stressful, and takes less effort to get good at life, which is like socializing and studying. Take the lessons you learn from LoL, like learning how to try hard and be successful or just 2K elo successful, and use them in real life. You will get many boobies and friends. The end. I'm going to go to Harvard next year. Studying is easier than games so 100 every class. Socializing easier than trying to get #1 ladder, tits>games. The end. I only regret not giving it my 100% playing LoL before quitting. (Source)Follow up here
Thank you for this. Thank you so much.

It is a joke. You can read the comments in the thread and they make it pretty obvious. Oddone and Dyrus were joking with each other because of the recent news. They decided to switch had fun and dyrus decided to tweet it. Top lane nocturne too strong.

All this shuffling of players makes me think. If we were to take the rosters of all the top NA teams what combo would produce the best team?
|
The problem is the best players at each role definitely won't get along with all the people on the team. Trying to "pick" the best 5 is just stupid because there's too much armchair psychology that has to go into figuring out who won't bitch at who and who will actually meld cohesively while also considering how good people are at actual roles and champs that could be picked.
|
CDE was probably the strongest NA team I've ever seen. Great team synergy even with little practice and time to play together. Imagine if they had time to practice like an actual team.

but armchair psychology is what makes it fun Also you could just throw out the personality factor and do it purely based on play and playstyles.
