It's just that normally the game isn't so lopsided that teams still feel they can win. But that game, MiG just flattened Najin. Also, Koreans have a very defeatist mentality where if they feel there's no point dragging out a game when it's inevitable they just surrender. Happens a lot in Korea solo queue. Also, that game was completely over for Najin. MiG could just right click their way to the Nexus and had a full minute to do so. This just made the win 40 seconds faster.

Looks like NaJin wants to force a late game, still don't think that's going to save them. It's very hard for MiG to siege towers with the massive wave clearing Najin has. They get very little time to damage the tower since there's always the risk of Skarner Flash-Ult and they want to play it safe. They don't need to rush it and throw the game. Bad fight near Baron. MiG so ahead, Urgot just swaps himself into the other team and MiG flatten Najin. Surrender comes out! GEE GEEE.
Yeah, I agree. It didn't look like MiG did much with Baron but it wasn't for a lack of trying.
Remember that MiG decided to go with an nontraditional AD carry. Urgot has rather abysmal range for his auto, as bad as Vayne or Graves. But Vayne tries to build AS, Graves has Quick Draw. If anything Urgot tries to build up his CDR first his EQQQ combo. Come mid game, a team with a farmed Urgot will still have subpar sieging capabilities.
As as Lunar said, surprise Skarner initiate would have been a blow MiG didn't want to take.

Some events have weird tiebreaker rules where the team that won their games faster go through; so, I suppose the teams just try to draw out the game to give themselves a chance should it come to a tiebreak.

not sure who would have won if they had an equal early game.
At equal farm/items, I'd give the edge to NaJin. But the whole point of MiG's comp was to set NaJin behind and MiG did exactly that.

What can NaJin do differently in game 2? I do sense an Urgot ban, but if MiG wants to run this tanky lineup again, NaJin will need to have at least a bruiser on top lane I feel, or get a Koggles for bot. I don't know, I'd love to see the blind pick rule in action (just to see HOW silly it gets), but I don't think NaJin can take even one map off MiG Frost.
Unless they troll.
Come on, MiG, troll!

Ban urgot, don't pick rumble.

Oh my god I just realized what you guys were talking about when you meant blind pick. What in the hell... what demon possessed the judges/coordinators to think game 3 blind pick would be a good idea.

Yup, it's almost like saying game 3 is a coin flip.

sloooooow.
It'll be amusing though. I can also see this ending in tragedy, haha. I'm sure teams will complain, esp if they lose, due to 3rd game Blind Pick.

nate disappeared before I got to talk to him. Ill sat hi from you after next game Daniel also had to move again nate found the girl he was reserving my seat for. Now sitting on far left right outside the Miag frost booth

I think it's the best idea I've ever seen. Blind pick in competitive lol has never been explored, I'd love to see it. People never like mirror matchups, but mirrors are part of the best (e)sports ever, like quake, sc:bw, even like chess which kinda counts but not really.
Like, why do people hate a mirror lane? If you lose you got staight up outplayed, I think people just don't like to realize that fact.

Come on, MiG, troll! Their team comp pretty much counterpicked themselves. Rumble doesn't really get powerful until lvl 4, but Renekton stomps people starting from level 1. While Rumble was able to cs fine, it meant Skarner had to come top and that meanst Bot got flattened badly. Soraka also makes for very weak lanes since any time the heal is not up for the armour buff, you are going to eat Urgot EQQQQ for half your life. And the tanky team from MiG nullified the double AP strat. Double AP is very all-in. If you can't blow someone up immediately, you're going to be in trouble when everything is now on CD.
