And it's not like the only two choices are "ban Hotshot" and "allow people to spam ads while afk". There are plenty of other solutions, like supporting more targeted advertising so that advertisers can ask for their ads not to be shown on certain streams, something like Pandora that asks if you're still watching after a while, and so on. Hell I'm pretty sure Hotshot would stop streaming afk ads if own3d just sent him a stern email. It's really not a big deal, although I can't really blame Boss guy for blowing it up since no one would care otherwise. | ||

Also a lot of people feel like they are undeserving of their Elo because they do fine in a higher Elo, but don't realize that having the skillset for doing fine there is different from having the ability to carry yourself up there. Basically, if you're at 1200 and you think you're actually 1500, then don't play like a 1500 in a 1500 game, play like a 1500 in a 1200 game. | ||

Being able to play support barely well enough for people to not yell at you in a high elo game doesn't mean that you play at that level, lol. | ||

Early laning phase in mid, tends to be somewhat of a challenge. Frequent ganks from jungler helps a lot. You really have to be agressive with the shield you get from the Power Transfer, but if you're up against a Ranged AD carry, expect to lose the lane, or just be extremely under farmed. The range on his Q is just way too low. If you're up against Annie, she can really just wreck you with her own Q, and the aoe spell. Especially if she stuns you. Not the greatest laner imo. Although I haven't tried maxing Death Ray first, I always max Power Transfer, I don't know if that'll make him better or worse. I'll have to try sometime. | ||

I swore, I was one of the first to abuse the living shit out of WotA, like 4 months ago. It was simply too good, especially if another teammate grabbed a 2nd one. I think it probably became more apparent as more people started using wota, since gunblade nerf, perhaps? | ||

You can pick whatever you want to. It doesn't necessarily mean play aggressively, more like decisively. Capitalize on mistakes that 1200 players make that 1500 players wouldn't, and punish every mistake you see. The easiest way to "outplay" your opponent is not through fancy tricks but to just let them outplay themselves. Give them as many opportunities to make mistakes as possible, and as soon as they mess up, punish them. I guess that applies at all Elos, but if you're a 1200 in a 1500 game, you'll probably end up getting baited most of the time lol | ||

Basically, if you're at 1200 and you think you're actually 1500, then don't play like a 1500 in a 1500 game, play like a 1500 in a 1200 game. wow, that was really really well-worded and i agree completely the game is completely different at 1200 from 1500 and from 1900. if you afk jungle at 1200 you might be the most farmed person in your game but still be down 30 kills because the enemy jungler only ganks and takes his buffs on respawn. whereas if you tried only ganking at 1900 you'd be a lot less successful than only afk farming because people ward a lot better etc nice insight bro, +1 | ||
