support: alistar, janna AP: zilean, moreganja, anivia, kennen Jangler: maokai, turndle, jarman, amumu bruiser: anything works really. irelia, GP, Riven all good among others. anyone with good damage and zone control works though.

You think there's no champion that's weak once everyone get item builds? Sound less sure of an answer than a politician. I bet you doubt that a farmed, fully built Nasus and Vayne couldn't 1v2 a fully built Soraka with no flash.
Lategame there are a handful of champions who only need their team to act as CC sinks/meatshields to be able to win a fight for his team single-handedly, that by definition is a champion who has a strong lategame.

Post summary:
Skins this week, no balance changes. Champion and balance next week. Probably still recovering from holidays.
Speaking of which, skins will most likely be Lee Sin, Wukong, Talon, and Sona, as Year of the Dragon Chinese New Year skins.

By definition if you need your team to act as CC sinks/meatshields you aren't winning a teamfight single-handedly.
Mogwai isn't saying there aren't strong lategame champions, but that ranking them is difficult because strength is relative to in-game circumstances.

Well I agree in that sense, as long as he's not saying that they don't exist. There's a limited amount of champions who absolutely suck when they're fully built, but there's even fewer who are capable of winning team fights because of their contributions.
Needing your team to deflect their CC is actually necessary if you're the only one who actually scares them. If you can 3-5 shot anyone on their team, they'll focus everything on you, but if your team can bait their cc to be blown prematurely, you can do the damage necessary to destory their team, even if your 4 allies combined do less damage to them than you.

M5 (Empire) vs TSM scrim from a few days ago was a successful callback to the "protect the Kog'maw" glory days from the Russians - Koggles with support Nunu, jungle Shyvana, Irelia top and Galio mid.

and see, I think it's a testament to how fucking terrible people in solo queue are at building teams that you think that the remaining 4 characters are just CC sinks/meatshields. those CC sinks/meatshields are actually a lot more important than that and who they are is incredibly important. that's the real heart of what I'm trying to say.

yeah, i am doing this for some time, but it will take some time to get there. I asked straight away if my account has ever been banned and the answer i got was "go to your store and pretend to buy something, then log out and back in and then you will see your RP". I am expecting another 2 months before they answer my question.

Nor did I say them being CC sinks or meatshields makes them useless, I'm saying once you get built enough to rip apart their team, as long as you don't get cced and 100-0ed, your team stands a good chance to win. Does your team need to do significant damage to them? Not particularly, all you need is peels so you don't blow up.

So no patch this week ? With no balance change with Viktor, it's quickly becoming a while since the last real patch.

I don't really follow the thought process behind their enemies picks. 3 manaless champs in mid/top/jungle and trynd vs cassio? I don't see how that's ever going to work.
