Because Yi still dies instantly with either if the team realizes to focus him. If he gets cleanse it means he forgoes having exhaust/ghost and if he rushes QSS his damage will be low. In the later game when 5v5s are common, Yi can't just dive headfirst and not expect to die instantly, so he has to wait in the wings or try to split-push. These days there are a lot of champs that can deal with him.

There's also the fact that Nocturne can play the same sort of vulture/split-push style while also having other options (e.g. getting Atmog's and playing as a tanky initiator using ulti to force fights). As a pick, Nocturne is more flexible, while not being weaker at what Yi is good at.

I've gotten into quite enough arguments trying to defend Dignitas, now I and others are part of a bandwagon for not jumping on them with pitchforks like the entire rest of the net?
Dignitas is still awesome, and I never stopped believing it.

As if WCG's incompetence absolves Dignitas of twice accepting blatant rule reversals. You want to be respected, then you man up and refuse to accept WCG's backroom bullshit. Trying to wash your hands of it by saying "it was them not me" doesn't somehow make you less guilty.

thats not the point lol, the point is that if anyone wants to argue against Dignitas, he/she should at least be thoroughly informed and use actual logic, instead of parroting hearsay from somewhere in the depths of reddit. There are logical arguments against Dignitas. "Scumbag Jatt" is not one of them.

I side with craton here. I was always more pissed at WCG/RIOT for their decisions, but that doesnt mean Im not disappointed in voyboy and jatt for doing what they did.

honestly, the only thing i'm truly upset by is jatt's participation in both qualifiers. IMHO, dignitas was well within its rights to question an admin on needing another set if they had even an inkling of believing they had another chance to win the qualifiers. I cannot honestly say that i wouldn't take that chance.

The ONLY thing I blame Dignitas for is Voyboys release statement congratulating CDE and saying that they were the rightful team to go to WCG and that he was confident that WCG would change their mind and reinstate CDE as the champions... followed up by playing the game and then taking the spot.

Also, I never see malz much anymore. Is there a major contributing factor or did he just die out? Salce pretty much summed it up yesterday on stream. Malz gets hardcountered by a single item- QSS. Also Sion clears waves better, ganks better, and isnt countered by QSS. So there really isnt a reason to ever pick malz. Salce also mentioned that malz ratios are shit.
I thought this was common knowledge? QSS is an amazing although situational item.
