elo reset was a waste of time.

ratings seem more inflated now than they did before. maybe not at the top of the ladder but certainly in 1500 scrubville where I get to play the quality of player seems to have, hardly believably, nose dived.

What happened is what happened, and ultimately it wasn't Dignitas' fault for what occurred. WCG should have realized what was going on and made some decisions before it came down to AFTER the finals. As someone who has actually played with Dignitas and met them in real life they are all great guys (Scarra is arguably the nicest person I've ever met). They have received enough shit from all of the streamers and LoL general forums, I think they should at least get our respect here (Voyboy was getting death threats... Are you fucking kidding me?).

It seems to span all gaming communities that the gut reaction to drama is pitchforks. Not a whole lot we can do about the painful reddit threads, but I agree that we should at least be beyond that here. Quoting because this post needs to be read.

Thank you for the tips on Tristana. I guess Zeal is indeed a bad choice if I think twice. Just had a game against a fairly similar lane 100 CS @ 14-15 minutes mark with no real dominance on player kills.
Where can I watch candypanda / chaox stream ?

Should morg shit on malz mid? I've had decent success just banning Kass and then leaving sion or morg open and then WTF BBQ destroying them mid. I trade CS as quickly as morg does and then when I hit 6 she has to either actively get ganks or just not be anywhere near me or get gibbed. Sion is pretty easy too if you get good about landing Q.

Also, I never see malz much anymore. Is there a major contributing factor or did he just die out?

Salce pretty much summed it up yesterday on stream. Malz gets hardcountered by a single item- QSS. Also Sion clears waves better, ganks better, and isnt countered by QSS. So there really isnt a reason to ever pick malz. Salce also mentioned that malz ratios are shit.

Malz gets hardcountered by 5 QSS.
Malz deals WAY more DPS than Sion, Malz has WAY more range than Sion, Malz has an AoE Silence that goes through spellshields.

Sion might be better early/midgame (which is before people get QSS, interestingly), but I'd take Malz over Sion for lategame any day.

Oh and bad ratios? Are you kidding me? 0.8 AoE on Q, 0.8 on E, 1.3 on R, and decent scaling on his W (consider that it is AoE and DoT again). That's pretty solid for his cooldowns and range.

Im just repeating his reasoning. Dun shoot the messenger.

Same, I didn't want to say anything but thanks for this, Loci. Leave Dignitas alone, they asked a legitimate question to the admins and Jatt also asked a legitimate question to the admins. The unfortunate fact that the tourney admins seemed to not know the rules well shouldn't mean that you guys have to right to talk so much shit and be such assholes about these guys. Jatt isn't a scumbag, I think it is kind of stupid that he tried to play in two qualifiers and he flaunted it, but it's not his fault that the admins told him he could. Holy shit.

Sigh, no really?

the point is it should be optional, not forced, again, imagine starcraft having a 1 minute forced delay at lans like mlg and gsl, i can see it now, huk coming out of his booth cheering while the audience is still a minute off lol

turn it on for online tournaments, and off for lans and when your spectating your friends or maybe coaching someone,

zzz...

That's a retarded scenario. Herp derp, HuK comes out of his booth asaply after a game.

There are benefits to having a stream/cast delayed by 1-2 minutes. I'd rather not have casters tip toe around their casting during key points of a game if the booths are not soundproof or have player be able to read the audience's reaction. It's far easier and cheaper to delay a stream by a little bit than invest in top notch gaming booth, for example.

But seriously, is a minute delay on stream going to ruin your experience of being at or watching a live tournament? -_-

Edit: your example of Gamescon even proves my point. LoL isn't like SC where individual players get their own booth. iirc, LoL played on a stage where each team sits at a long table. A delay is a necessity at LANs. Fair play should trump all.

its not the point that it IS there that bothers me, its the point you cannot take it off, what if i'm spectating a friend to give him some pointers? i can't even over the shoulder him because there is a minute fuckin delay lol

I do think custom games ought to have a delay time that you can choose at game creation. If games warrant a delay, the organizers can make the choice to use one. If they do ever enable spectator mode for regular games, which seems unlikely, the delay should be forced.

If CandyPanda or Chaox are streaming, their stream will appear on the lists here. A list of Tristana videos is also here for you to check out.

Keep playing that Yordle. She's really cool. ^^

I don't see what jatt did as flaunting. I mainly just saw it as him joking around about being able to play in 2 cause he prob just figured the rules were retarded that way. It's basically "oh I can do this and that...weird but okay" *makes jokes to entertain* and then everyone goes full retard about it and is like "herpderp scumbag jatt." although I don't expect much from Reddit other than memes.
