I just don't think TSm is rising to the level of competition.
Honestly, besides TRM just not being good relative to other pros, TSM is just suffering from a loss of confidence. They have a lot of pressure they've put on themselves to perform due to the team house. They just need to relax and play their game. You've seen Chaox really make a change to his game lately and he's gotten a ton better in the last couple days. It's time for the others to make the same leap. Xpecial has also been playing quite well in practice with Chaox. The whole team needs to relax, play their game, and stomp some nerds. Everyone but their bot lane needs to just play better overall.

loco: who calls the strats during scrims? Is it similar to how US teams do it - suggestions by the players etc or is it one person's call?

TSM made it through the MLG providence qualifiers just fine. The problem with TSM is that everyone just plays a very narrow range of champions. You put reginald on brand, and you know he'll give someone a bad day, but it gets predicatble eventually. Its not that rainman is bad, its that he doesnt play wide enough range of champions at a competitive level. Singed, udyr and akali here or there thats pretty much it at the competitve lvl.
The gaming house really needs a coach to keep everyone in line and a practice schedule, because right now it seems like everyone is just chilling and not taking advantage of the gaming house.

How is this possible?
(Note: not me, saw it on another forum)

You can jungle pretty much anyone if you build wriggles/tanky ad if you have the right runes and a good enough pull. And you don't get counter jungled. And you don't gank until level 5.
Pretty much the other team has to let it happen.
|
Janna can actually jungle just fine because her shield prevents damage, improves attack, and has a pretty low cooldown.
She clears the jungle really slowly, though. Her ganks are okay, however. Slow, knockup, and extra movespeed for everyone is nice.

Check out saintvicious stream, hes been playing pretty much every champ jungle lately (karma, janna, couple more 'oddones')

I thought it was standard for the jungler and/or support to make the calls since they should have the best map awareness. Guess it's different from team to team.

I dont see how nerfing flash and buffing heal (ZOMG SUSTAIN IS THE DEVIL, they killed my Soraka but they buff heal, great play riot, great) will promote agressive play.
|
I have actually been talking to my team members about who makes the calls. In my opinion, it is either the initiator or the 2nd-in who should be making the engagement call. I would really like to get into this more because I know my team is currently struggling with who makes the calls ect.
