Also, I've been playing Akali with Mobility Boots. I did it as a troll at first, but it lets you get into position and run in and out so fast that I just started doing it every game. Sorc's get you the extra damage, but if they don't build MR, I'd recommend trying it. Ganks are so easy to set up when you run that fast to where a fight is happening.

Common misconception: you don't want Sorc boots if they're stacking MR unless you are running some cheese MR reduction build with Guise/Abyssal/Fiddle and such.
Sorc boots will do more damage (read: add more damage) if their MR is low.

Huh, interesting to note. So on your AP chars, which level 2 boots do you normally go for? Mercs?

Mercs usually. Unless they're all really bad and never build MR you don't really need sorc.

So what do you think about situationally taking Mobility Boots if they're low on CC? Obviously I'm not high level play, but I think it could be interesting.
