Janna, Alistar, Sona, and even Soraka to an extent have ultimates that hugely influence the way you play with and against them because they *do* something influential to how the fight plays. A nuke and a steroid don't do that. You do some damage and you buff up your teammates. They can't even really stop the steroid component, and chances are the nuke isn't going to do enough to hugely influence how people respond to you. As it stands, this ultimate feels like it creates even LESS interesting gameplay than the old ultimate--seeing as at least the mana management for the old Taric ultimate at least created some gameplay for you, if not for the other 9 players in the game. | ||

Not to mention that they made Taric ulti an offensive ulti, but at the same time did a big nerf to AP (offensive) Taric. It boggles my mind tbh. | ||

I,agree he is very underrated,I have been playing him for months now and a lot of times I just destroy my lanes,I guess due to the fact that people really underestimate him and his burst damage. If you take clarity with him you can literally never ever get pushed out of a lane,he's both really good solo top and a really good lane partner bot for getting early kills. The reason why I would like to see a small buff to him is for his late game,I feel that's where most of the tanks outshine him because they tend to be a bit more durable... Maybe slightly buff the % of heal on the passive as he lvls up or slightly buff his ult,but literally slightly.I feel like maokai is in a really good spot but its just that tinny edge he need's I feel for people to start using him more. | ||

I honestly don't understand why Maokai isn't played more. He's super underrated and is quite powerful. Both Mao and Galio get neglected outside free rotation weeks . Thou i find both to be superb laners into tankers with good farming tools , utility AND dmg while still building tanky. Sucks im cheap ass and wait till both are sold with 50% disc XD I consider Galio ( Similar pick could be Mao , but Galios ult wins ... ) as my pick for new season2 elo climb . Win lanes fast + deal great Dmg through all game + still build tanky with 200/200 and 3k Hp + utility + ofc his ult . Maokai is also strong AP tank/offtank , but due to skill needed to land good ults ppl better pick other champs . | ||

Fixed a bug where you could Smite Baron from behind his den Also, I hope Dominion is a surprise! if season 1's extended again I'm gonna be pissed (I remember someone on Liquidparty saying "inb4 season extend again") Love the Kassadin and Olaf changes though. Keep up the good work Riot! | ||

Taric: lvl 6 is gonna be nasty. Holy crap Tenacity. Hell yeah, smartcast items! Clairvoyance buff, ROFL. Get ready for some insane counterjungling simply based on CVing camps, 2 at a time. | ||
