I decided to make a thread dedicated to uploading replays and commentaries. I will use this thread as an archive for all of my commentaries. I definitely want as much feedback from you guys as I can get. If you have questions about any of the replays please feel free to ask them here and I will make sure to answer them (you may have to be specific for older replays). Again, please be critical, this is a good way for me to get better as well! I've seen some pretty intelligent posts on the general discussion thread (once I sift through all the "Morde es #1 jungle always kill never die huehuehuehuehue") and I'd like to see some analysis from you guys!
I have added a dropbox that has all of my replays in it so you can search through my past games if you want raw replays with no commentary.

Would you able to do one with Galio or Swain or Amumu? The ones you have done so far are great, but I don't play any of those characters.
Edit: Well, I do play Shen, so I will watch that one, but right now I rarely play him.

Too bad that garen game went south, would it have been better maybe for you to tell jax to come bottom and lane swap with him top? Or even babysit him through the lane once you knew that taric basically wasn't going to support him? Interesting to see how you play garen though, only thing confused on is masteries you never really said for sure what you use.

@ Hazmat: I'm not really super pro with AD carries, I prefer to play AP or support with some jungle thrown in, but I'll see what I can do.
@ Kaniol: I'm working on a Morg game right now =). I played a couple today but they weren't really all that reflective of what cool stuff you can do with Morg. When I finally did get a good game I realized I didn't have LoLReplay running, haha. I'll try to get one up tonight or tomorrow

@ barbsq: I will commentate that game and upload it for you sometime in the next couple days.
@ Hal9000: Yeah I probably could have swapped lanes with Jax, but I don't know how Garen would fair against Kass at higher level. I think it would ahve been best just to have taric go help him top since I was in no trouble bot. For Masteries I go 24 6 0, getting magic pen cdr and all the rest of offensive tree, giving up attack speed, defense I get the armor and mr masteries.

Looking forward to nasus, got like 100 games on him and pretty comfortable with him, so will be nice to see another perspective. Only problem is so many people give him trouble in lane.
I Lol'd at the panth game. It felt like you were playing a champ with melee range and only 1 ability being a global ult and just ult in and right click people. Didn't think he was that bad.

Also, I suppose that your Garen's premise is just to dominate duo lane, would you go 21/0/9 in other circumstances?

As a low level player (still not even 30), it's great to watch games like this. Just took a ganders at the Pantheon one, and things like the last hitting and team work are just in a different league from what I'm used to seeing.

Yeah, the MPen is pretty much for the ult (MPen bonus for sunfire is pretty small). 21 0 9 works too, however I prefer the armor and MR over the experience boost, and I think both perseverance and good hands are relatively worthless as far as masteries go. I pretty much always go offensive tree because I think it's important to try to take advantage of Garen's strong early game, and offensive tree is perfect for that. I take the MPen and cdr over attack speed because I think attack speed is relatively useless on Garen. You really won't find yourself in a scenario where you're auto-attacking anyone for an extended period of time. Might as well get Mpen on a huge magic damage nuke (his ult).

loci, u ever try running 21/9/0 with dodge seals and the nimbleness mastery on Garen? I know dodge is cheesy and all, but I liek getting those extra MS procs as I spin on someone's face =3.

morg has always been my fav hero
Edit: would love to see a morg game gone wrong, she seems to turn into dead weight faster than most heroes if she gets picked on by a jungler/roamer. Maybe it's just me playing the wrong way when i'm behind.
Also, do you get flat mana regen out of personal preference or do you think it's required for her early game mana issues?

If you get around to it loci, I'd like to see Jungle Xin if you have the time. Xin is one of my favorites, but I just can't seem to find ways to win with him in ranked. Tips would be appreciated. Morg video was very well put together, definitely dig the screenshot of the runes and masteries in the zip. Makes it much easier than writing it down with pen and paper.

when i'm behind with morg i just immediately get hourglass so that the stun on ult is more or less guaranteed. That way when you stun their team, die, and then the rest of your team dies you can at least say "why didn't you kill them! i got em all! hard not to feed when we have no damage.........."

also Loci, with your commentaries, could you make it a little more obvious as to when you actually start the replay? Like with the Morg commentary you talk for a bit then mention you're at 17 seconds into the game. I had to adjust things and I was never quite sure if I was totally synced with you. Thanks.

Hmm, that's actually a smart idea. I like getting the health per level because I like to get dps items and the extra health is helpful since my build lacks health early on, but nimbleness and would be good for sure. In fact it's probably better than my build. I most definitely think it's a good idea!

If you watch replay 6 you can actually watch our jungle xin, I think he played well and did a good job so you could learn a lot form him. To be honest I'm not a fantastic jungler (I can do it at a high level, but I'm of course not as kobe or saint vicious), so I recommend watching that game for tips. After watching that game if you still want me to do a game as jungle xin let me know.

Nasus game uploaded! I had a lot of fun with this game. I think my new build is pretty effective and exciting, so check it out! However, I forgot to synchronize this game, which is pretty unacceptable on my part. Nasus got me too excited, I forgot to synchronize, haha. If you guys really want I can go back and make a new recording. I'm really sorry =/. Let me know, if it's an issue I will make a new one.

Pretty impressed with nasus game, most people just go derp and get mercs into trinity force. Only thing I'd add would be to consider glacial shroud. Frozen heart seems to be the better choice for armour anyway, and gives you mana/armour/cdr which are all very useful in lane, cdr helps with farming. Not sure on brutalizer, but its definitely strong as hell. I'm having slot issues though because when you want to stack armour mres because your ult gives you so much hp, so you have to do things like build trinity straight from sheen and FoN straight from negatron.
I also get 4 CDR/lvl blues because I find I miss about 4% cdr and you don't need it that much until later anyway, and it allows you to get some more MRes on your blues. Even that 4% hurts my mres a lot.
Right now I'd say for your 6 slots around 30 minutes something like:
Mercs+Glacial+Brutal+Aegis+Sheen+Negatron (31% cdr+runes, 5% more when FH is finished)
or
Ionian+Eleisa's+Glacial+Aegis+Sheen+Negatron (36% + runes, 5% more with FH finished)
building frozen heart into trinity into FoN. Warmogs when it makes sense. The problem is you either have to sell aegis to get it so its only worth it when its later on and people are rocking LWs/VS and you really need the hp/hp regen. It probably won't be an issue most games.
Found hp/level runes to be silly, why not flat armour for lane, or armour/level if lane isn't a problem? You get so much health from ult and you can easily go like shurelya's or something if you are lacking it and want cdr+mercs or something.
Are you sure about ghost/flash? You only used flash once or something, maybe try exhaust since with whither on your carry with max CDR you can exhaust the next highest damage dealer when he's doing something annoying or use it to help kill people in teamfights. I use teleport a lot in solo top because it helps not lose lane to strong laners, and helps you farm and push towers without having to let your team get screwed 4v5 or tower dived.

Have you tried starting regrowth instead of cloth+5 pots Loci? Since philo is nowadays considered really good pick (and you bought it as well) i wonder if that would work.
Also why hp/lvl seals over armor seals?
This morgana game seemed so onesided  That mid gank at lvl 3 (i think) was awesome and so many clutch black shields. Makes me want to play morg but i know i will suck terribly.
The idea of attaching pics of masteries and runes is awesome BTW

I just listened to the garen commentary and it was really educational. I like the way you keep a positive attitude despite all the bad things happening to you. Whats with the voice changer though lol. I couldn't understand what you were saying for like 5 minutes at the end.

Hey guys sorry I haven't uploaded a replay in a while. I'll do a Kennen one for you in a little bit. I've been playing a ton of Nasus trying to perfect a build/strategy with him. So far things are going well, but this lack of variety has caused me not have very many games that don't involve The Big Dog =). I'll put up a replay soon I promise.
Arthemesia, for some reason when I record audio using window's sound recorder it messes up my voice hardcore randomly, and I haven't figured out why yet.

Hey Loci, would you mind uploading just replays in general (no commentary necessary). I have difficulty finding quality replays and a steady stream from a top player would be amazing. There is so much to learn, even if you're not explaining your thinking while you're doing it.

It would be cool if I could set up a site that would automatically update/upload replays from my replay folder so that people could go download them. As of now I'd have to mass upload replays onto that Megaupload site which I'm not too excited about. I'll see what I can do in the future.
I would love to make a youtube channel but I can't actually capture replays because it's essentially as resource heavy as streaming, unless I'm doing something wrong. I hopefully will be getting my computer upgraded soon and I can have an all in one video/audio commentary or just straight video except not in replay format so that everyone can watch.

I uploaded a Ryze replay and commentary. Note I was pretty tired when doing this and said some stupid things. Such as failing to do 48/5 in my head. Somehow it came out as 5 when I should have said at least 9 or 10, haha. Oh well, fail on my part. =)

Do you play any ranged carries much like corki or urgot? I think it'd be interesting to see one of those. I also think it'd be interesting to see you losing the lane and how you feel you could of done better and why the lane felt unwinnable and how to counter that lane.

Hey loci, just chiming in that the kennen replay gives me bugsplats as well . Would really like you to continue doing this commentary thing its one of the best resources I have found for improving my game. As someone said above just posting replays in general of what you do without commentary would help too since you were my favorite streamer back in the day :D. If you set up a public drop box and set it to your replay folder (default in my documents) people should be able to download them.

Ok guys, I set up a dropbox that has all of my replays on it. I have not looked through these at all, so who knows what kind of games these are. They of course have no commentaries, they are just raw replays, but I figure this is an easy way for you guys to watch some games and it's not a lot of work for me. I haven't been playing this game all that often over the summer, I've been trying to take care of other things. Enjoy!

Yeah I see... Hmm, anyone know how to link a whole folder? Otherwise I would have to individually go and create a link for every replay. I know how to create a url for one file, but it won't allow me to do it for a folder. Any ideas?

I'm in the process of removing all the replays and updating it with my current replay folder. It's just raw files, no commentary, so I can't promise what games will be good and what games will be bad, =).
