RiotMarcou The competitive scene will live on both servers. Riot Games will continue to support community tournaments and professional eSports on both servers. Teams from all over the world will compete in Season 2 from across many different servers just as they did in Season One (NA, EU, and SEA). We haven't decided how many teams will come from each region, but the European regional tournament will include teams from all over Europe and both servers. All major competitions will be played on our tournament realm, which can be accessed from any country in the world and will pit all of the best teams against each other. Just as the competition was fierce in NA and EU for Season One, the competition will be intense on both European servers as well. Real MARCOU always so worried about ESPORT

The EU servers are in New York which gives me roughly 12 ms. Then i have this that gives me 180 and they are supposed to be close to each other? Does not compute, and I've had games with EU only players. PS: Not saying it isn't true, just wondering why I never get on them ; <

The new york servers serve as an emergency backup for EU Does this mean that we won’t have to play on New York servers anymore? Yes. Once the split is complete, each platform will be armed with a self-sufficient number of game servers. You should no longer find yourself on an emergency server in New York. How can I expect the service to improve following the split? Queue times should be far shorter, and platform stability should be vastly improved as a result of the split. Additionally, the new, dual platform environment should eliminate the need for New York based overflow servers.

They were offloading some of the EU traffic to NY servers because there was too many games going on. The ny servers are usually used for NA games

The only times I've had NY servers were when I was on EU. NA servers have always been west coast.

We had the capacity in the NY server centre when we were running out of game servers in a bad way on EU and just did what we had to to make sure the platform stayed up. After the split, we're retiring the NY servers (we'll actually probably turn them into a secondary tournament realm, but that's still up in the air). please visit more often!

So basicly to you Daniel is the equivalent of kitten? Just by showing up he has calmed your rage. Perhaps they should just dress him up in a bow-tie every time they make a controversial decision?

Clearly something isn't working properly.
