Winrate is not bad, around 55/45. Flamewreathed Faceless helps against Dragonfire Potion and CoH clears.

And even among Druids, Egg/Token variants are far more popular than Jade/Ramp variants. But Ultimate Infestation broke the game I guess.

I think Druid is a much bigger problem in Standard than Wild though. My experience of Wild is that there are so many broken things that it really comes down to who drew their broken cards/combos first. My last game was against a Reno priest deck who had played both Shadowreaper Anduin and Raza the Chained by turn 8. Drawing both by then is pure luck. And that sums up my experience of Wild. That said, nothing in Wild is as broken as Pirate Warrior.

The other classes seen are Big Priest / Raza Priest, midrangey DK Warlock, occasional Pirate Warrior, Murloc Pally, or random stall/Quest Mage. (this being from ranks approx. 7-4)

And that's not including Lyra and Radiant Elementals as well in the mix. Just, how do you deal with it that isn't Anyfin? With exodia mage, pirate warrior, and jade druid statistically speaking. Other druids, hunter, and miricle rouge are all 50/50 too.

That being said, kinda sad about the new nerfs. Yeah druid got nerfed, innervate is so core that they probably wont be a top deck anymore. But Murlocs probably wont be a top deck either after this and Warriors might be confined to only pirates now. Maybe this opens up more early game options for everyone but I'm skeptical.

The general reaction to the Dreadsteed nerf shows that it is clearly not the case at all And now with the reaction to the most recent nerfs, and in particular the nerf to Fiery War Axe (which people has been calling to be nerfred since forever it feels like), I still think that the community isn't ready for frequent changes

More of the 'this would be too confusing' and 'it needs to be clear and simple' as reasons for not using better changes. This is the expansion that includes 9 cards that completely replace a hero with all sort of subtleties and effects that are not mentioned anywhere on the card, but a innervate that 'refreshes' 2 mana crystals instead of adding them would be too confusing. Please... I know that the community likes to joke around with "Too confusing for new players" but as someone currently working with web development I can understand where Blizzard is coming from. End-users are not always are smart as people might think. "Really?" Yes, really.

Then again I also hate the current push for website oversimplification to cater to the illiterate touch-screen-only users so there's a pattern

After watching that match as 2x speed, I am now convinced that a pure control meta like everyone dreams about would be a very boring thing to happen. Now, I also don't want the game to be decided purely by your opening hand either, but I actually believe aggro decks are healthy for the game.
