well they can't do a wipe anymore . People already spent alot of money on cards . Yeah it will be an advantage , maybe big or not so big , for people who will enter earlier in the game , but it doesn't realy matter in the long run i think.

why cant they wipe anymore? they already did it when ppl had already spent money, they just refunded them their gold

Exactly.. they can make state of the art game but are somehow not capable of checking who already has a key and who has not. But they really want everybody to play asap so they give more keys to people already having one!!!!! /sarcasm :')

And how exactly would they know that? Just because they make decent games, they know magic and are psychic?

It's not Blizzards fault that people enter giveaways even though they already have a key, it's not blizzards fault that people who get keys from opt-in gives them away to others and it's not blizzards fault that people have a hundred email accounts to opt-in from.

Blizzard do not send opt-in keys to people who got the game on their account. They might very well send keys to people who are playing to let them invite their friends, pretty much all multiplayer betas does this. Hell, how do you think most people got their Dota 2 beta accounts? The vast majority of keys were distributed among friends.

I don't get why you're so bitter anyway since you on page 12 of this topic let us all know how the game looks mediocre and boring and that you don't care.

random is random I guess but it is not fair at all... the key is now on E-bay...

They should give those to people still waiting.

I seriously doubt that. However, if this happened, it's probably a bug in their system. Let Blizzard know about it instead of whining about it here, especially since you apparently don't care.

its not a bug.. its how they create hype and how they give the keys away. Its not the first time it happened. If you watch twitch a lot and read the chat (not sure how accurate) you see it happen a lot. Some people have like 3 keys.. one from a give away, they play it and then they get yet another one from a opt-in wave... seriously...

Oh and also, they could do daily optin waves instead of giving 300k keys away to community sites for a key an hour stream ... like to people who signed up from day 1 per example. Matter of priorities but its not like they said that they want everybody to play asap.. that is just a plain lie.

Not really. The first one I got in my email as normal. The second I just won in a youtube/stream handout.

They don't create hype like that at all. They create hype by giving important people/websites a ton of keys so they can have contest and drive up the popularity of the game. They gain zero hype from giving an opt-in invite to someone who already had one. The only possible way someone has the game and got an opt-in invite is if they got the invite from somewhere else, such as a giveaway, and then won the Blizzard lottery and got the opt-in, IF blizzard do not check games when deciding where to send opt-in invites.

In your opinion, it's highly unfair that they got a second key, but on the other hand, if you're lucky and win a giveaway, then Blizzard automatically removes you from the opt-in, that's not really fair either, Blizzard are not in control of the giveaways. And you can stop bringing up the "day 1" thing. Pretty much everyone opted in on day 1, and Blizzard doesn't give a crap about giving priority to people who wanked by their computer during the announcement and opted in immediately, and others who read about it a week or so later and decided it sounded like something for them.

Well, if people have a beta on their account, they should not receive opt-ins on that account anymore, logically. If they use it on another account, it makes sense that they still get an opt-in

I see it this way.. if they get an opt-in key and add to their account, they can still enter a giveaway and get a key to give their friend. If they however get a giveaway key and add, they just lost their spot in the opt-in and can't get the key for their friend.

I see how this can be considered fair since the actual goal of the giveaways and opt-ins is not to give away the keys, at the same time, I can see how Blizzard considers it fair to not remove someone from the opt-in list until they've actually gotten a key from it.

Exactly.. they can make state of the art game but are somehow not capable of checking who already has a key and who has not. But they really want everybody to play asap!!!!

So blizzard has absolutely no information what games are on the customers account? :D
I know people already playing HS and still getting keys from opt ins.... its retarded

Actually they did!!! I know a person who was playing HS and got a key from the opt-in yesterday :D

I see that as fair too tbh

What I dont see as fair is that people got a key, activated on their account and then still get optin wave from blizz on the same account. That is just lame and yes that happens.

Yes I can report that to blizz that I think that is dumb but it won't grant me a beta key so whats the point anyway.

Congratz... are they sending out waves on daily base now or something? That would actually be good news for a change I mean yesterday there was a wave as well afaik.
