WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Les Paul, who invented the solid-body electric guitar later wielded by a legion of rock 'n' roll greats, died Thursday of complications from pneumonia. He was 94.

I have a Les Paul at home, but we use it very rarely. Now I have the feeling I need to learn to play the guitar properly so I can do it justice.

RIP Les Paul.. I can cherish my electric even more now..He brought something magical to the musician world.

i've always been more of a fender guy but i must pay my respects to a true legend. RIP L.P.
I was listening to an interview with him on the radio the other night, and I was like damn this guy is old as fuck, amazing he's still kickin. Then at the end they were like, "This interview was from 1990 and something something, he will be missed by all". RIP
I honestly shed a tear when I read about this. My dream guitar is an LP I am settling for my faded SG for now.
