- That's the name I'd pick if I ever have to
- its a really cool name, you think of Southpark
- it has a cool origin: Scottish
- it's short enough to add a middle name without making the name too long at all
- it would give him the absolutely awesome initials of K.O.

the force would be strong with him and he could for sure grow a impressive beard Wiki: Kyle Katarn
I know some parents that try to make their daughters/sons name fit out and w/e because they think their clever and I kid you not, I know a kid named Kile -_-

Um it's funny how people expect it to be a boy and mainly only type boy names
Since the father is red haired and full of testosteron, this seemingly vikingish heritage should be brought on to his son/daughter.
I'm thinking Thor/Freya

Michael or Gabriel

Ok let's think about the kid growing up. Most likely s/he'll enroll in an international school, and do you really want to subject Mani's child to years of torment? Seriously? Naming your kid Thor? You're just asking for him to get beat up :/

I'm pretty sure a kid named Thor would bring the smackdown on anyone stupid enough to fuck with him. Hammer style.

Don't anger the god of war, china man.
Just have to mention this btw; when I was in college there were two guys at my school named Gandalf and Bilbo. I thought that was pretty awesome, they weren't related either.

Give him (if it's a guy) Jesus for middle name or God, that way whenever some chick says "OH GOD!" or cries out "JESUS CHRIST" he can go "you can call me -- Name --"!
EDIT: Of course not saying god is a guy.. No disrepect.

Lloyd Hyde Ono
The whole name has a good ring to it, you're kid won't be mercilessly teased and have a bad childhood. Lloyd is not a totally common name, but it's not pretentious or weird either.
Don't name your kid Raynor, don't be that kind of dad.

why are your kids taking your wife's last name??

Wow, manifesto7 should really keep/save this thread. It'd be a really cool gift for his son once he grows up; to know that a whole forum decided upon his name.

"yeah...JesusZerg Hyde Ono isn't really a common name.."
"well... here.. [pops open a laptop to TL.net].. This is how i got your name"
"....oh gawd"

im guessing sc is his favourite game. So why not make it Raynor? I mean its a human name, and it fits perfectly (Manifesto is cool, Raynor is cool, so that would make the son double cool!). Congrats Mani.
For a Girl name it just ame it either Sarah OR Kerrigan. Can u use Kerrigan as a first name? Same math: Cool + Cool = 2Cool... (pun intended)

Stringer. But when you say it its more like Shtringa.

Barney Stinson.
You want to know why? Because he's AWESOME.
What. Up.

Sänger. Beacuse German names are preety good and also beacuse it is a name of a cool character from the Super Robot Wars series.
Of course, that is assuming a boy. If it is going to be a daughter, I would go with something Russian. I always thought Katyusha was a beautiful name (although it is also the name of a rocket launcher ).

Seriously, WHO wouldn't name their kid after the worlds best Starcraft player in history? Hell, i'd name my kid Lim or Boxer.
Lim is just a family name. Yo-hwan is his first name. And a Korean-Japanese combination name? That wouldn't sit too well with the parents or the culture (unless you're BoA and therefore super cute).
Also to the guy who suggested Phoenix: there's a Phoenix who works at my company. He's an unusual guy and the name loses a lot of its coolness factor on someone like that.
Katyusha? The Russian rocket launcher vehicle? Although I suppose it's a nickname for "Katherine"... but Mani isn't Russian either. I always thought that name was cool though.

Then I'd prefer "Nikita" :p

dunno if this've been asked already but, what's mani last name? because i think the first name must match with the last name, we dont want someone named kevin pacheco

Evan.
It's my name and from experience I can tell you it's quite good.
Pro's: -Fairly unique, I've only met 1-2 other Evan's in my entire life -Easy to pronounce and spell (though I've gotten a few "Evin" or "Even"s from retarded people) -Short and doesn't have any embarrassing nicknames. It's two syllables so it feels like a full name, but it cannot be reasonably shortened.
Con's: There are none.
