If you have heard of Haloid, you probably know how awesome Monty Oum's videos are.
Recently there have been releases of previews for Dead Fantasy 3 4 and 5, which are part of series of movie animations of Dead or Alive characters vs Final fantasy.
You can see Dead Fantasy 1 and 2 from his movies on GameTraielrs (Below), as well as Haloid if you have never seen it: + Show Spoiler +
In an interview, he said he had been given job offers but he said that he was hesitant because he would be making someone else's product and doesn't think he'd be good enough apparently. Iunno what he's talking about, since his movies are oh absolutely jaw dropping quality.
Man. If Monty Oum really knew the by how much the fans of the final fantasy series completely outnumber the dead or alive series, then it should be obvious how he should set the ending of each video.
Seriously.
The day he makes Tifa cause to be in need of a rescue, is the day his video concept will fail.
I can't believe I haven't seen these yet, I just finished watching one and two, really really enjoyed the fight sequences, really entertaining! Glad I saw these. Thanks for posting it.
Wow, I remembered Haloid and Dead Fantasy 1 but I didn't check out for the newer stuff! Keep this thread up a couple of days if possible. I'm afraid that I'll forget to come back to watch them later. Got a project I need to finish up on first.

could just be code for he likes creative freedom, and he would be uncomfortable following someone else's vision
I loved the work he did w/ Dead Fantasy 1 & 2 and its fantastic that he came out w/ sequels.. Was even more entertaining that they were filmed/displayed @ a comic-con/anime-con. I'm glad his work is now that main-stream, I had no idea that he was that developed and main-stream.
The fight scenes, I think, are whats most incredible. A bit over-the-top at times, w/ some of the action, but beautifully choreographed! I love how he originally ties in the multiple characters in the few 2 Dead Fantasy's, how it starts as just 1:1 then gets to 2:2 then 3:3 etc..
All the new vids are great obviously, I liked the 2nd one featuring the Aeons, although I think they were a little too quickly dispatched - not showcasing their immense power. Just 1 Aeon shoulda been able to hold down more than a few clones, hell Bahamut alone woulda totally owned all them bizznatches ^ ^ and of course, what a wonderful surprise to see Cloud come in @ the pinch to save the day!
3rd video, #5, was good - but I was sitting here wondering/hoping who from FF was going to come in and help Tifa. I liked the idea of the Phoenix-Down, although it was a hazy sequence (involving cloud) - woulda been nice to see Vincent come to her aid, or maybe Cid or Kimahri! Kimahri was a beast ^ ^ would like to see him added to the roster in future Dead-Fantasy's
overall - very well done by Monty Oum. A very talented CG-artist. It's also a field I wish to pursue and delve into. To be able to create scenes like that... totally awesome gL
Oh damn I was actually hoping new videos were up when I saw this thread again. But this is good too, high quality at last! Thanks for the update. I'm really liking this series. The fight scenes are awesome.

Really sad, I was hoping for season 3 of RWBY. It wasnt amazing show but it was fun if you do not take it seriously and it had it moments. Pretty stupid how he died from allergic reaction to some sort of medicine that put him in a coma and eventually his death, least that what I been hearing. What were the odds of that happening nowadays and I wonder if the hospital/people are going to be sued.
