News-hopping all over the internet, you may have come across an article or two about this massive full-size Gundam watching over the city of Tokyo over the past couple of weeks. I kind of wish it was from another series besides the original Mobile Suit Gundam though, maybe done in the style of 08th MS Team, since it looks so cartoony and dated with the original. Still awesome nonetheless. | ||

I know it was a anime.. Gundam etc.. but I mean, the technology is upon us. Everything that was science-fiction based ideas are becoming more realistic. This being evidence. I know in the anime, gundams were elite fighting robots, being piloted by average citizens w/ proper training.. or just a gifted skill.. I suppose they were an elite fighting machine, because of their mobility, eh? I mean, to have a space-ship sized android w/ life-life mobility I suppose it would have better range of action against retro models like airplanes, heli's, etc.. So.. I know it would be even farther in the future, but i mean, technology could come to giant mobile-suit piloted warfare. The technology to build them is obviously here. Only a few more years of research and development before they're mobile and can be controlled/piloted. technology is great! GL | ||
