They way the deep fryers work is that you must take a large mental rode and violently stire them for 2-3 minutes before cooking any kitchten. 1) Its not easy to do, since spashing oil burns alot. 2) people don't give a fuck. When you are eating kfc always be concious of the texture of the meat esp original, if it feels slimy, rubbery(not right by a bone, but on a centralized peice of meat) or the breading looks 'matted' down at all. Do Not Eat It. I spent 6 months as a chicken cook and ended up food poisioned twice and I was very attentive to all rules/regulations.

Our partner, Coupons, Inc. is experiencing an exceptionally high volume of traffic to the site right now. Please check back soon to get your coupon. Sorry for any inconvenience. ![]() We're Sorry you have printed the coupon the maximum number of times limited. FUCK, DOUBLE FUCK. TRIPLE FUCK!?!? ok this is getting ridiculous ![]() edit- Ok, I tried the print coupon link in IE and it failed, failed, then worked, failed again. People said you can print up to 4 or 5 coupons so I'm gonna keep trying till it doesn't work anymore. For some reason my copy/paste stopped working... Also I read this: Hey folks. Ok I have too much time on my hands but it turns out the coupon PDF file on the Oprah.com website isn't being honored by KFC because the barcode is not unique (it's actually 0012 3456 7890 1234). You need to go to the following website: http://www.unthinkfc.com/ and go through the slightly inconvenient process of downloading their 'printing software' that generates the number of allowed coupons--you can keep going back to hit 'print coupon' until the site tells you you've reached the limit (I thought the limit was four but somehow I only got three). Each has a valid, unique barcode. I'm going to take one to KFC tomorrow. I was reading their nutrition facts menu last time I ate there and in fine print it said that the process of frying/browning the potato wedges creates a chemical reaction (acrylamide) and it is known to cause cancer in the state of CA. I think this is with all deep fried potatoes anywhere though. So chips, french fries, etc.

There was lots of fuss about the original coupons not being accepted, only the ones from the coupon installer. So they weren't allowing people in the drive thru to use them, had to go inside. Since I live in Long Beach it was pretty stereotypical to see 90% black people jumping on the KFC free chicken, lot of them looked pretty ghetto/poor and were even complaining/arguing about shit with the cashier. Its FREE you fucker.

I went over to our nearest KFC a few minutes ago (this was around 42nd and Park)and chaos ensued. Despite the very visible grilled chicken behind the register, the manager told everyone with coupons to leave and that the promotion was over for the day. The people there are currently holding a sit-in and refusing to leave until they get their free chicken...or the cops are called. Racial epithets were being spewed, people who actually wanted to pay for chicken were facing a potential beatdown, and the manager ran from the screaming horde. Oprah, what have ye wrought? hahahhaha

El Pollo Loco and Chick-a-fil takes competitor coupons. They offer 1$ off your order from any other fast food restraunt chicken item coupon. edit- also a lot of people http://www.oprah.com/community/thread/107466?start=105&tstart=0 on this thread seem to work for KFC and giving the insider 411 It seems that KFC completely fucked up in numerous ways and now they are offering rain checks to people where you fill out some shit and mail it with your coupon and then they send you another coupon that is the same deal + drink for a later date. http://www.kfc.com/coupons/raincheck.asp After watching that video it makes me think they planned this whole thing to fail, so that they can get more information from customers when they send in for the rainchecks. KFC barely warned the stores a few days before the offer, so they couldn't order more chicken in preparation, then this douche bag CEO already has a video up? I find it hard to believe this video was made so quickly in response to everything. PS -You should know, the COUPON software installs content on your computer that it does not remove upon uninstallation.

Nevertheless, it has been a staple condiment in Asia for over a century, and nobody there bats an eye about it, nor, does it seem, are they all sick, crazy, or brain damaged. Chemically extracted MSG is different from glutamate found naturally in foods. That's like comparing refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup to the carbohydrates in something like broccoli. I wouldn't be surprised if the dangers of MSG are exaggerated, but you definitely want to avoid it because foods with MSG are typically heavily processed and nutritionally poor. Japanese companies will put "No MSG" labels on the noodles they sell and Bangkok banned the use of MSG in school lunches so I wouldn't say "nobody there bats an eye about it." In fact, the last sentence is about as fair as me saying: "Asians smoke at a higher rate than Americans, and nobody there bats an eye about it, nor does it seem, are they all stricken with lung cancer, heart disease, and heart attack."
