well, if you think of it, normally demographic curves tend to move along in the years, as in a long bar representing 20s (in the year of 2005) would move along and be present in the year of 2015 as people in the 30s.
However, in the previous 2 years, there was always many 18-20s, so by right, 2 years later, they would be under the 20-22 category. Strangely the demographic percentages never really changed... where did all of you go!

That picture is my High School graduation picture taken in 1959. It is old. As for why I'm on TL, I came over as a result of Klazart involvement at Authonomy.
