You can even post your school stats there like your SAT/ACT/GPA scores and have other users tell your chances before submitting your application to the school. Who knows, you might be just wasting your time/money/effort just to have your hopes shattered.  Wasabi: Thanks for the info. I am actually a long-time member at collegeconfidential.com I haven't submitted my apps but planning on doing it either tomorrow or Friday. I put a lot of work into the Stanford essays and stuff so I think it's too late to turn around. Secondary school report and teacher recommendations have already been sent in, too. I actually posted my GPA/SAT/ECs on collegeconfidential the other day but all I got were those typical "good shot but it's Stanford" responses. Thanks for the information on transferring, I appreciate it. | ||

The acceptance rate for transfer students is usually around 1-2% . http://admission.stanford.edu/application/transfer/index.html That being said, I cannot recommend it enough=). I can't imagine a better undergrad experience at any other school ~~ | ||
