In the first series, the show featured gangs and police corruption in Brazil, Maori gangs in New Zealand, neo Nazi skinheads in California and gangsters in London. The second series featured gangs including "MS13" from El Salvador, neo-Nazis in Russia, American "Bloods" and "Crips" in St Louis and the Numbers gang in South Africa. ALSO, he is a Vic Mackey (The Shield tv-series) look-a-like ^^
Always found gangs really interesting, especially ones in jail that come up with extremely complicated languages to write back and forth without the guards knowing what its all about.

lol yea, and para-military like ranks and stuff within the gangs
Just watched the video... I really don't like that Ross Kemp dude's mannerisms and body language. Don't like what he projects.
Oh, and check 07:56-07:58. Is the warden instinctively evading an expected blow or looking in the pointed direction? The movement does seem pretty jumpy.
From the warden's rules of conduct, I found the "You have soft face" pretty interesting. Not very 0815, but definitively true imo.

Btw, I don't know what you mean by your last sentence. The warden tells Ross Kemp to go in with a "soft face", as in trying to come across as relaxed and cool, since these guys smell fear like animals.

My interpretation of having a "soft face" is to have relaxed face muscles.
What I meant was that this particular rule of body language with the goal of expressing non-offensive confidence struck me as interesting, because I'd never heard of it before. Recently, I caught myself tense, and pushed myself to relax my face muscles. The difference was enormous. That's why the rule resonated in me.
Next time you're tense, look in the mirror, and relax yourself and your face muscles. You'll see what I mean.

mannerisms can sometimes be overanalyzed or cared about too much i think. some people who look tense or angry or unsociable are in fact not, and there's no reason really to judge people before getting to know them unless you think they're going to hurt you. i dont' see what reason the warden had to consider this guy threatening unless he thought he might've been some gang member in disguise or something. i noticed that sudden hand gesture and the warden flinching alot too, but maybe they're just both high strung. it's understandable and imo not something to judge people for really.
in fact some forms of emotional unresponsiveness in the form of trying to be 'cool' too much i can find pretty annoying. will enjoy the videos thanks
