Also, looking at the drone paths it's pretty clear they're at least testing the air defense around 2 key areas:
What I'm worried about is that some of the drones flew over Ukraine and then Belarus to get to Suwałki region "from the back" basically. I wonder how that would affect the potential disposition of anti-air defense. Edit: and pronunciation guide because those places might come up in the future rzeszów - jeshoov suwałki - soovawkee | ||

It would be, if we are looking at this in normal, not conforming to Russian views of the world an under reaction, since it wouldn't involve NATO Air assets crossing into Russian territory. It would be great to have all these jets and helis who helped down these shitty Shaheds to be patrolling and ready to intercept them as well as the cruise missiles that are hitting residential areas and, very rarely, military targets in and around Kyiv, Lviv and other important cities in the Western Ukraine and allow Ukraine's own anti air assets to be better utilized along the front. Of course, none of that will happen, what I'm seeing discussed is a total visa ban for Russians which is dumb, because it prevents people who might want to escape that hellhole from doing so, but at least it might help against the constant Russian hybrid warfare shit like burning down malls and killing dissidents, but even for this I'm not holding high hopes. To me, it seems like NATO is subservient to Trump, Rutte is a huge ass kisser and will do nothing too radical because it might anger Russia ally Trump. | ||

I would consider starting to shoot down air targets IN western Ukraine FROM Poland but I'm not 100% convinced it would be the right move because there's no way Trump admin would okay that and if they don't they'll have a nice excuse to leave us on our own in case Russia decides to escalate further. I'm hoping the EU as a whole will come up with some good retaliation idea. | ||

Something along the lines of "I asked AI to critically evaluate (something about the Ukraine war that i don't recall exactly), and the response was "Standard Russian talking points about how totally unfair it is to call the war "unprovoked", and a bunch of other similar stuff". | ||
