NATO says that up to 40,000 Russian troops have been killed, wounded, taken prisoner or are missing in Ukraine, said a senior military official from the alliance. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization calculates the figure based on information provided by Ukrainian authorities and information obtained from Russia--both officially and unintentionally, the official said. NATO estimates that between 7,000 and 15,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since the invasion began on Feb. 24. Using statistical averages from past conflicts that for every casualty roughly three soldiers are wounded, NATO analysts reach their total figure. Russia began its invasion with roughly 190,000 troops. It has since brought in additional troops from Chechnya, Syria and other locations. Source

It could be both coming from your own artillery and decidedly unfriendly. Check some reports about the A-10 from Afghanistan and Iraq, there was plenty of friendly fire, I wouldn't put too much into it.

HANOI, March 23 (Reuters) - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will temporarily suspend regular flights from Hanoi to Moscow starting from March 25 until further notice, the state run Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported on Wednesday. The suspension was to review procedures, requirements and regulations related to flight operations in Russia, VNA reported. The two countries have close ties dating back to the Soviet era and Vietnam has not so far condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Source

Russia accidentally leaked their losses. If they were true it were almost 10k killed and 16k wounded (just russians, not auxiliary). Also, Russians are now moving Ukrainian children out of Ukraine and into Russia on the territories they're occupying. Reason unknown.

"Oh look, they're Ukrainian and they don't approve of leadership". That or moving civillians just to bomb cities harder.

Does anyone have any rough estimates of what the function of this is? I’ve just seen “electronic warfare” but that’s fairly vague

This would affect drones/UAVs and ground-based radar as well. It can even permanently damage electronics at close enough ranges it seems. It's a very nice catch for the West.

Certainly more than you would like (0 ideal) and I think lots is fair word. But considering the stories from Ukraine, if even a quarter are true, their "lots" is lots more. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/oct/22/american-troops-friendly-fire-iraq#:~:text=US troops killed at least, public, the war logs reveal. It was killing UK/Afghan forces as well. Considering the technological advantage... To be fair it's not just A-10 issue but the airplane has the least of the "technological advantage". You can find few bombs dropped in the close air support here and there. Edit> The obvious point should be that if US/UK forces in the afghanistan/iraq fighting a totally different army have friendly fire, imagine fighting an army with the same equipment...

Lviv, Ukraine (CNN)Ukrainian armed forces said they destroyed a large Russian landing ship at the port of Berdyansk in southern Ukraine on Thursday. The port, which had recently been occupied by Russian forces with several Russian warships in dock, was rocked by a series of heavy explosions soon after dawn. Social media videos showed fires raging at the dockside, with a series of secondary explosions reverberating across the city. The Armed Forces of Ukraine said they had "destroyed a large landing ship," which they named as the "Orsk" in a post on Facebook. Several Russian ships had been unloading military equipment at Berdyansk in recent days, according to reports from the port by Russian media outlets. The Ukrainian armed forces said that besides destroying the Orsk, two more ships were damaged. "A 3,000-ton fuel tank was also destroyed. The fire spread to the enemy's ammunition depot. Details of the damage inflicted on the occupier are being clarified," they said. It's not known what weapon was used to attack the port. Analysis of videos uploaded on Thursday showed that one Russian naval vessel left the port soon after the explosions. Source

Apparently Russian media broadcasted that the ships had broken through thus Ukraine knew exactly where they were. https://twitter.com/HillridgeOSINT/status/1506885949321588742 Source As the age-old saying states: "Loose lips sink ships." Telling all the worlds when and where your ships are in a vulnerable position does not sound like a smart thing for a defense ministry to do.

It is extremely unlikely a weapon was delivered by a drone given what we know of Ukrainian drones. Ukrainian forces have sunk and damaged two other Naval ships via drone. A landing ship is also a low priority target, perhaps a high priority person was on board. Even if it was being used to transport tanks, the Russians have established land control over Crimea and the Russian border to that location. Odd, but I suppose to speaks to that Russian logistics are bad enough that they need to transport vehicles by sea.
