There is no upside to taking them in and a whole host of downsides from extremism to health and education. So Trump begins lobbying Arab states for relocation of Palestinians from Gaza. Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is set to become the first foreign leader to meet President Donald Trump at the White House in his second term on Tuesday at a critical juncture for the Gaza ceasefire. www.bbc.com Okay this is heinous on its face, but I'm going to leave open the possibility that Trump (in his endlessly self-serving intentions) is going to be all smiley and then once the doors close be like "here's the deal, take it or you leave this room straight to the Hague" then Netanyahu thinks he's bluffing and ends up dragged out of the room in cuffs and Trump perp walks him out of the White House himself. Probably just fascists discussing their genocidal plans though.

Who could have possibly predicted that a Trump administration that never even pretended to give a shit about Palestinians would do this. Who? It’s just so unpredictable!

I know this take from me has always been wildly unpopular, but I truly do view this as the best case scenario for Palestinians. The world is against them. No one cares enough about them to save them. Its been 100 years. Its just a cyclic tragedy at this point and even something as heinous as ethnic cleansing is by far their best option. Either way, now that this is the way things are going to go, I do hope this means other nations will feel forced to help out.

Don’t fucking touch Gaza. Egypt understands. Jordan understands. Saudi Arabia understands. Israel understands. Iran understands. Syria understands. Trump is truly the stupidest person in every possible room. God only knows how the US military, as it will be the military asked to do this, will try to keep law and order there. It’ll be like nation building in Afghanistan if Afghanistan was also on fire and populated entirely by leopards. I’d sooner try establishing a utopia in Haiti than this. The only hope at this point is that he backtracks the moment he gets any resistance the way he has on tariffs etc. The military is likely going to present him with a plan with a price tag in the trillions and he’ll think that’s a lot of money for whatever it was he planned on doing which honestly he’s not really sure of anymore but it was successful and it was great and he’s done with it now and tired of winning.

Name a nation stupid enough to follow America on this. I suppose the Danes have reliably had America’s back for decades. And there’s Canada, they follow America’s lead, right? And Israel has always been ready to lend a hand, or at least extend a hand, and the hand is open. Seriously, name any possible nation that would want any part of this. Any nation.

It’s an unbelievable humanitarian problem that cannot be fixed without crimes against humanity. An exponentially increasing population of traumatized children being raised in a prison by traumatized children with no normality, no stability, no prospects, no hope. And for the last few decades directly ruled and propagandized by a group that could be charitably described as a death cult and which viewed their suffering as something to be maximized and weaponized. Based on Netanyahu’s enormous grin, there will be no law and order. It will just be the US guaranteeing Netanyahu can conduct his ethnic cleansing as he pleases. Just look at what Trump already arranged with deporting immigrants and criminals to Ecuador. Everyone says it’s impossible to move this many people because they are assuming some level of basic human decency. There will be none. Trump will make sure planes are available to take Palestinians to some other country and that will be all the involvement IMO

Also the plan where someone else builds a new Gaza city in Jordan to put all the Gazans in because the current one got bombed is laughable. What happens when day 1 in Gaza v2 someone flings a missile at Israel? It gets bombed. They’ll have to shoot the million or so children in Gaza and I don’t believe either the IDF or US Army have the stomach for that.

It is baffling to me that some seem to be okay with collective punishment and indiscriminate bombing, but this is too much. It shows how little they actually care about their values. Of course. It is neat that they can later pin everything on Trump.

Europeans fail with the idea of sending immigrants to extra territorial camps, since their own courts basicly bust the governments. Italy wasted a whole lotta money and got to take back everyone very recently
