HP7 Leaked :(

Voldemort dies on the first page and Harry bangs Hermoine for the rest of the book. All 900 pages of it. Best. Book. Ever.

The spoilers in the video OverTheUnder posted are all correct; I\'m not absolutely sure about the page numbers(just read through the thing in a day, it\'s dawning here right now), although scrimgeour\'s death page is obviously missing a number after the five(you don\'t get to see him die, just a notice of it). Voldemort DOES kill Snape through Nagini, hoping to master the Elder Wand(I\'ll get to this in a sec).

The kids\' names are all correct, all those characters do die, but strangely enough, the only thing that I did not think Rowling would do is not there: Shortly after harry awoke from his uncosciousness after Voldemort\'s(failed) attempt at killing him(actually that\'s another mistake in the video - Harry doesn\'t die, since Dumbledore states quite clearly that it was all happening inside Harry\'s head(in his conversation with his ex-headmaster after Voldemort cursed him), which I believe people need to be alive to have(a head))) (Yeah, I know that was a lot of parentheses, but I digress.), Harry kills Voldemort, and I mean kills him, not that he died like Quirrel from touching him. Not through some bullshit power to love thing I think Rowling would do(though that\'s how the killing curse failed to do him in, even though it would take voldemort anyway if harry had actually had died for harry had a bit of voldemort\'s soul inside him(in a sense, another horcrux, the seventh one)), but due to the artifact- the Elder wand.

That wand would only pass to another owners after the previous one had been defeated. Voldemort believed that Snape had been the one to defeat Dumbledore, but in reality, it had been Draco fucking Malfoy(he disarmed dumby in top of the astronomy tower). In the seventh book, Harry takes Draco\'s wand, \'beating\' him, which makes the Elder Wand recognize him as his true master; thus, when Voldy casts avada kedavra and Harry casts that spell again(you\'d think he had learned after using the cruciatus curse for real at amycus(or was it alecto?) carrow at one point, and the imperius curse during their raid on gringotts... but I digress again), the Wand kills voldemort with his own curse, passing over to Harry. So yeah, in a sense, Harry killed Voldemort when they dueled, beat his fucking ass like a man(it could\'ve been more epic or something but it was better than what I\'d expected).

You honestly thought that killing off the main character book would be, as I read in another thread, taking \'risky directions\' with its characters? Please, cut the fucking bullshit. I was fucking suprised when I saw that Harry actually lives off; a friend of mine who lost interest in the series, a reasonably long time ago, said to me \'It\'s obvious Harry will die in the end, isn\'t it?\'. Yes, it is cliche. Please, have fucking mercy if you think killing off the main character is something unique, that R. R. Martin or whomever you read(or don\'t, you could be lying about what you read or if you read at all for all I know) is an unique fantasy writer because he kills characters off or something to that extent. I\'m not saying Rowling is something absolutely extraordinary, by the way, it\'s just that you make me sick with your wanting to look superior to the HP fans.

The book was reasonably well written, by the way. She tied the loose ends pretty nicely from what I could tell, which is definetly more than what can be said about some writers (Looking at you, Stephen King). The fact remains that even if the book is no Nobel prize material, it\'s interesting enough to read, the story is nicely told and somewhat captivating, and you\'re fucking immature idiots.

After Harry used the Imperius curse, I imagined him using all three of the unforgivable curses, and I thought I was going to be correct after he used crucio. I figured he'd take Voldemort out with a killing curse, but I wasn't disappointed that he used his 'signature move' to end the final battle.

I also thought while I was reading that Harry should have actually died and felt kinda cheated when he didn't, but after finishing the book, I think the ending was perfect with him alive. I also thought it was awesome how Snape was virtually irrelevant in the book (while alive anyway) after all the pre-release hype wondering if he was friend or foe. Rowling did a great job of writing interesting backstories for old characters that readers thought they knew everything about already. I think the middle 500 pages could have been condensed though since it got rather boring, but the ending was worth it.
