My mistake. If you try to murder someone, and they survive, that's only attempted murder. That's obviously much better and more peaceful behavior than somehow successfully murdering them without also attempting it.

A world where the left wants nobody shot and the right wants the left shot but not themselves isn't sustainable. I'd love to have the former (nobody is shot) but the right have consistently spoken for and voted for gun violence.
Edit: there's also an active shooter at a Colorado high school right now, how much you wanna bet the right will shrug it off because it's not "one of them" like Kirk was?
