You can shout racist bullshit all day. Many people do in fact. That language is constitutionally protected, as in the government cannot stop them from saying that, but they do get fired and lose contracts.
It's a bit questionable since this time it's the government that is doing this, but the idea behind it is classic free speech.

So the gun control bill, such as it is, has passed the Senate with the support of 15 Republicans. Probably tells you how much it actually does. It almost feels worse than getting nothing at all, because when this bill passes and we still have a shitload of gun violence in America now we can't say we're doing nothing anymore.
But also, now the ULTRA MAGA gang has put those 15 Republicans on their shit list. Including Mitch McConnell, who gave them the 6-3 SCOTUS majority that's literally passing all their wet dream rulings right now.
Not the brightest bunch.

Nah, not hard to believe. They told us exactly who they were, and who they were working for. They told us already, the problem was that their draft was leaked, not that they slipped and accidentally wrote the wrong opinion on the case. Everyone saw it coming.

Well this summer start wasn't too bad in the US all things considered. But now I feel we're going to have a repeat, if not worse, of last year's Summer of Unrest.
