Good article on the how the corporate needs to be taken out of politics so its no longer pay to play. This article is regarding Biden, the insurance companies, and medicare. I'm not sure a big medicare hike is going to help at all in the midterms among other things.

Or, perhaps that's the most human thing of all. Take whatever you can, fuck everyone else and everything else. The only thing that matters is your future, make it as good as you can at the expense of the future of America, and our entire race. Burn it all down to enjoy a bit of warmth and a show. What the ashes used to be doesn't matter.

The backbone of capitalism is that everyone having a Take whatever you can, fuck everyone else and everything else. Bro, just because you can shoot people doesn't mean you get a free ticket to any university you want. Shit, I was surprised A&M didn't give him a scholarship right after the shooting, considering the school's history.

San Francisco is a product of primarily third way Democrats with a sprinkle of progressives/social liberals (the recalled DA is a social liberal/progressive). SF is a lot of things, but an example of "commie twitter run amuck" (despite Republican billionaires and superPACs pushing this kind of message) isn't one of them.

I think SF is one of the most capitalistic cities in the US and the DA wasn't anywhere near my political beliefs

Like, remembering Texas’ privatized power grid failure and how stupid it is to let utilities be in the hands of investors, California has a similar situation of their gas and electric utility being in the hands of fucking investors. https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/oct/11/california-power-shutoffs-when-your-public-utility-is-owned-by-private-investors California is a prime example of why Democrats absolutely do not care about you and absolutely do not have the interests of anyone but their corporate daddies at heart. A prime example of why Manchin and Sinema aren’t the only problems, because no number of Democrats in Congress would pass legislation that their donors didn’t greenlight.

The more they do and the worse things get the more they push the US to a point where one of these people are going to make real contact. Or theyll just give all politicians mega-armed security. That ones probably more likely. McConnell has already called for it, I wouldnt be surprised to see a bill passed today giving the Supreme Court lots of security and for Congress to be next in line for heavy guard in the eventual future. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/man-arrested-supreme-court-justice-kavanaughs-home-allegedly/story?id=85259333&cid=social_twitter_abcn An armed man was arrested near Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's Maryland home after allegedly making threats against Kavanaugh, according to a Supreme Court spokesperson. The man was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. Wednesday and taken into custody in Montgomery County. The suspect's name has not been released but a law enforcement official told ABC News that he is from California. Montgomery County police said the case has been transferred to the FBI. The Department of Homeland Security warned in May that there could be threats against Supreme Court justices over the leaked draft of the Roe v. Wade decision.
