Well as I'm sure you all know today is 4.20, the day to celebrate the drug marijuana. How will you celebrate today?
Please do not turn this thread into a 'whether or not pot should be legal thread.' Make another thread for that if you like.
I live in Denver where the drug is already legal to carry for personal use. I'm going to a protest at the Denver capital, we're pushing to have marijuana legal to sell in stores. but before my friends get here I'm going to light a bowl up in the bathroom.
People who "celebrate" 4/20 are retarded. It doesn't even have anything to do with the date 4/20, 420 refers to a time of day when kids in a California high school were going to meet up and smoke. How it turned into a national craze is beyond me, people desperate to glorify pot I guess. Retards.

Oh, thanks for trying to be smart, everyone who celebrates it knows about how it all started, kthx.

It's not actually legal in Denver, as the state law of Colorado overrides the city's law.

hahaha. No they don't, that's the whole point.
4/20 is as much a day of celebration as Mother's Day or Father's Day. Stupid! Hell, as if teenage pot-smokers weren't vocal enough when they light up. Dude I'm gonna get so blazed after school! How is today different from every other day?
Regardless if the state or city law says its ok for medical purpose or whatever to carry but not smoke or sell. FEDERAL LAW supercedes all, and its illegal.
We need a day to tell us when people can smoke weed? But I agree with Ex_Z; its pretty stupid now that its hit the mainstream society. Its like something Yahoo would post on their front page, with links to relevant Yahoo Q and As.
Hahaha how did this thread turn into this. 4/20 is supposed to be a day of good will. The people who smoke on 4/20 realize how stupid it is, thanks for informing. It's just like fucking Arbor day. It's pointless, but people just want a day for themselves. Who are you the day police? Haha people are just having fun... it's not as religious as some of you were making it out to be.
Hahaha I will celebrate today by doing nothing. Screw getting high via drugs. I can get high off of oxygen by itself. I am also celebrating my new rank icon by playing SC for the first time in a long time.
i smoked at 4:20 am today, it was soooo great. we smoked a joint, and a couple bowls. And then a fatasss giant joint thing that was more cone shaped that held like 2 grams. im only finally sober now.
Other famous or infamous people born April 20, including of course Hitler as already mentioned.

But I thought you said it was legal for personal use in Denver? Why were people being arrested?
it's illegal to sell. this is basically the problem with the law... it's legal to own; not legal to sell. people who were caught selling were arrested. there was a vote in this city a year ago to make it legal to sell but it lost 41 to 59 i think. it's a dumb loop hole basically... if your selling this you must be in the privacy of your own home.
Wow I was way too high :O! I felt my eyes had sharingan for like 1-2 hours yesterday. I was so thirsty when I woke up and I feel really weird. Fun times!
