I live in Texas so it's a BIG risk handling anything more then an oz lol, so prices are definitively higher here. Weed is probably decriminalized where you live, isn't it? | ||

In Toronto kush tends to go for as cheap as 200 to as high as 300 an ounce + Show Spoiler + 325+ if your provider doesn't like you lol The good kush here, however, has been about as good as anywhere I've smoked | ||

Technically they could charge you for possession, but of all the people I know getting busted they generally either tell you to put it out, they confiscate it, confiscate + a good talking to/scare, and the worst I've heard of is someone getting arrested (but charges soon dropped) and getting their car impounded because they were driving high. But this is all for small amounts. Anything over an ounce will probably result in more serious consequences. If you are a minor they take things much more seriously though too. This is in Alberta, BC is more lenient, much like cali I've heard. | ||

You've got to have really pissed off a cop for that to happen though, I'm sure. Mostly it's just confiscation and/or stern lectures though. | ||

If you don't have the tools to transfer a liquid from the container into smallish capsules then this could be really hard. A straw could work though, lol. A thin coffee straw may actually make a great tool for filling the capsules with the oil, I haven't tested it. Otherwise you could use a disposable pipette, like the ones they have at university chem labs. Rubber bulb syringes are easy to find at CVS or some similar drug store, I think they could fill the caps. Anyways, if you want to do this I recommend not using the recipe I originally posted. I followed it once but after a few more attempts I developed my own method. I'm not sure if its better or worse but it is certainly easier and much, much harder to fuck up. If you don't have the tools to transfer a liquid from the container into smallish capsules then i guess just try the first method. You don't really need the pill machine with this recipe but it helps a lot by serving as a rack for the capsules. You need some sort of vegetable-based fatty oil. I used hemp oil mixed with olive oil, but plain old olive oil would be just as good. The original recipe calls for 4oz oil for an 8th. I think that 4oz is waaay too much for an 8th to get the right result. My recipe calls for a gram of weed and not too much oil. You can apply the same concept to any amount though. Follow the first recipe when grinding/blending the weed, I typically just grind it multiple times. Slowly pour the oil into container until it goes from looking like a lubed up ball of weed to more of a liquid, marijuana/oil combination.. lol. Stir throughout, as the first recipe mentions. Then you heat it in the microwave... I heat it for about one minute and thirty seconds for the first round. Let it chill for a minute or so afterwards. Beyond that you can just do slow, incremental 30second runs. If you make sure to let the container chill for long enough after each round of heating you can basically heat it as long as you'd like. DO NOT BURN THE BUD... Smoke == BAD! Optimally you would only heat it up to the point where the weed is depleted. Its pretty obvious when its depleted in my opinion: It becomes dark but not exactly black and looks as if its been vaped at a high temperature. You're not extracting the depleted weed though, you just have to extract the oil. Now you need the refrigerator. You need to move the mixture from the microwave to the fridge/freezer for at least like.... perhaps 10 mins in the freezer or 15-20 minutes in the fridge. It needs to be cool or else it will melt the capsules and cause issues. Alternatives include an ice bath or something with water and ice packs. Next step would be having an assistant hold the capsules as you use one of the tools i mentioned above to transfer the oil from the glass container to the capsules. If you have a pill machine then just fill the bottom rack with capsules and start filling. You'll get a lot more oil then you'd think just looking at the mixture. It can fill, as I said before, like 15-30 capsules with only a gram of substance. A capsule may seem filled at first but make sure you put pressure on it until you feel a click; you may have to push kind of hard. Anywhere from 4-7 will get you extremely baked.. Its a very cerebral buzz, akin to a pure sativa high. I'm not sure why it has that quality but I like it. At first I suspected that the pills would contain the same ratio of CBD's to THC as any normal ganja edible. Now I'm not so sure.. Normal brownies/cookies are more of a body high whereas this is (mostly) a head high. Towards the end though (depending on a few factors it can last a looong time) it does make me sleepy like brownies would. I have fairly high tolerance and its still reeally strong lol. For instance my iphone keyboard appeared to be waving, right now looking at this message the text in my peripheral vision looks extremely bizarre.. letters almost seem to move and lines are shifting around. I've done mushrooms and its almost similar to the very early onset of the shroom visuals. Really good shit man (Afternote: When I first wrote this I was very high lol). As a plus you can make disgusting firecrackers that may or may not get you high with the depleted weed you have left over. That being said the pills seem almost inconsistent. Sometimes the same dose will effect you strongly,other times you won't feel it as much. Stomach contents, diet, and other things probably all come in to play to determine how strongly you feel the effect. My experience so far though has been really positive. I can't say for sure what the optimal condition for taking the pills is. Its affecting me a lot right now and i ate a medium sized, extremely nutrient rich meal about an hour and a half before I dosed the pills. I drank plenty of water as the pills went down. Also I've been taking niacin with it as I've heard that can potentiate the experience. Also overripe mangos, dark chocolate, or even something like Kanna. Edit: Various grammatical fixes plus: I should also mention that after you've filled all the capsules you can with the original oil its not a bad idea to put a bit more oil into the container and microwave it again. Any active ingredient you missed the first time around will be picked up with the second run. Also if anyone sees any flaws or has an idea to improve my recipe please share it, I'd like to get this down to a science. I'm already ordering a large lab beaker as well as a magnetic stirring bar to replace the microwave for heating. I have a feeling this will make my recipe even more effective. The procedure is easy to pull off and the results are fantastic. I can't recommend this enough to all you cannabis lovers out there. If anyone has questions I'm happy to answer. | ||

That being said I can't stress enough how terrible opiates/cocaine/other IV drugs are for your body. Doing those types of drugs is like trying to cheese life; unfortunately, mortality scouts and you cannot win. Stick with weed and nothing else... except perhaps the occasional entheogen to put things in perspective (if necessary). Let it be known to any first time visitors of the high thread that cannabis is not a gateway drug and we (for the most part) just want to peacefully enjoy our safe, medicinal herb without turning to needles or crack pipes. I can't remember the specific number, but anything below either 10g or an ounce (again can't remember) is possesion, anything above is trafficking. You can google the criminal code to find out, it's always a wise thing to know your rights and what laws apply where. | ||
