What if those people inside get access to them? Imo media should be forbidden to show that during hostage situations

What would that change anyway? They must know they are being surrounded.

French forces have been VERY good at keeping the media from 100 to 200 meters away. Compared to what it was during the hostage situation in Australia, this is completely different and not even close to showing absolutely everything.
