If true, the gradual change from the pre-Joker character into Joker could be parallelled with Heath's gradual change from an actor who's seen to only fit certain characters into one who can pull of an insane Joker-like character. The result would be that there's a sort of dual development/change of both character and actor in the audience's eyes making it all that more dramatic. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this  | ||

I love Depp and think hes an amazing actor but him playing joker would fucking suck ass. Hes becoming the wet spot of every 12 year old girl in the world and Joker being him wouldnt be great. | ||
