Just stopped by to say I think TL did the right thing here. My parents are currently trying to get their congregational church to declare itself Open and Affirming (IE any gender identity/sexuality friendly), and their efforts seem to be paying off (a paper ballot vote will be taken one of these days, which in itself is great progress). In a religious setting I think declaring this message to be very important, as the literature which forms the core of each sermon/Sunday service has plenty of discriminatory notions and bigoted tenants which can make an entire section of your community shy away.
A gaming site might be just as important a place to declare a stance, since language like "that's so gay" and "u homo?" etc is used frequently without much thought given to it.
If you are put off by the current coloring of the logo, just consider what a minor inconvenience it is to you to have to look at it, compared to the message it sends to those who are still searching for true equality with their hetero countrymen.

What I don't get is why does it matter if sex means one thing with respect to evolution? Are you literally only focusing your life on making sure that your genes are passed on to another generation? Is that your reason to be? If it is I feel bad for you.

Can you honestly say that you can "control" the kind of women (assuming youre male) youre attracted to? If so, prove it by writing down what you find LEAST attractive with a woman and then go date women like that. If attraction is a choice you should just be able to find the least attractive feat of these women the most attractive. Right?

Human aren't the only animal who have sex for pleasure. Chimpanzee, bonobos and dolphin also do.
Evolution is not just about individual survival and reproduction. Homosexuality is actually useful in an evolutionary context. For a simple example, in a tribes setting, an homosexual won't have kid so he is more likely to care and protect other children and thus increase the chance of survival.
