hi to all, this will be my first post on this forum with many more to come, so i figured i might make a greeting and a Question all in 1.

i am having problems with the viewing of VOD's for some ungodly reason, i can start the d/l and what not, but it doesn't seem to want to give me a picture in Windows Media Player.... so obvcourse any help would be muchly appreciated.

P.s. that Hatred guy is obviousely insicure about himself and his "perfect" life.

Well, I'm not an expert. However, I have come to the conclusion that just about anything made by Microsoft usually stinks

. Maybe you could try getting another view and retesting it... Hmm... check download.com or something. *shrugs* Also, if you aren't already, try saving the video on your hard drive first, then playing it. Sorry I'm not a terrible amount of help. If all else fails, try the ultimate solution: make more SCVs *nods*.

By "d/l" I take it you mean starting the streaming process. It sounds to me like you may have accessed the VOD when the server's busy. You usually have to try different times to get a clear picture, maybe three or four days after it's been first released. Depends on the site you're accessing tho.

Please, provide more specific info on the problem and I'll see what I can do for you.

well i can honestly say i was waiting for ur specific responce after after reading a 4 page post insulting ur BR's by Hatred. u seem like an inteligent person and i dont believe that what that inconsiderete nitwit Hatred, had any right to flame u like that.

i dont think its the servers fault, cause when i use realplayer to start the webstream it manages a picture but not sound. did i mention i really hate everything about my comp and connection (did now hehe).

when i start the Vod with windows media player 9.0 it buffers back and forth, then it starts to play the music and all the voices. then i can hear the count down to the game, but still no picture.

perhaps if it were possible to post a link for hi recorder, i could totally forget about that shitty ass windows media player 9.0.

go to www.broodwar.co.yu
in the "sc files" section, u can dl streambox vcr with which u can save the vods to your hard disk and dont have to care about the bad connection to a bad server standing somewhere in the other hemisphere ^^

lolz ..... thx heaps for the help everybody, but i gave up on WMP 9.0 ages ago, i now have HiNetRecorder to d/l and save the VOD's to my hdd, but its good to know i've finally found a forum with ppl who r actually friendly and actually want to help out. thx again!!
