But this NK guy, seems so reckless and he is so young he might be naive too.... I think this is legit, war may come.
Lets not take any chances, it's time to evacuate the StarCraft pros.

Nah, I am pretty sure they are needed to command the SK forces. Microing against those mines in the DMZ isn't something any guy from the street could do! Seriously though: Does anybody know for how long the whole SK/US military excercises are still going to go on? The North is obviously ridiculously overreacting, but who wouldn't get a little uneasy with Billion-Dollar-Stealth-Bombers roaming your neighboring skies... As soon as the excercises are over, the whole situation is going to cool down as well. As it always does.

U.S. moves sea-based radar to Western Pacific Ocean to monitor N. Korea Amid escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula, the United States has moved a sea-based radar platform closer to the North Korean coast to monitor Pyongyang's military moves in the wake of its threats to target the U.S. mainland and Pacific bases, multiple military sources in Seoul said Tuesday. The U.S. military has sent the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1) based in Hawaii to the Western Pacific Ocean to better monitor potential attempts from North Korea to launch a long-range missile, they said. The advanced radar is a floating platform and has the ability to search and track targets, communicating with interceptor missiles at its overseas base that can shoot down a target missile. They'd rather have smaller and weaker enemies in the future. Overall, step forward as long as China & the rest of the world have an ok relationship. Btw, good question. I don't really think it would make China stronger per say, North Korea would be more of a burden than anything else. In reality China is the only country that the North Koreans would 'trust' with their sovereignty if you get what I'm saying. Something like full autonomy within China with an option for a referendum for unification with the South in 20 years would be best. EDIT: Or independence under the complete and utter control of China (kind of like Puerto Rico), still it will take 20 years to make everything within NK's territory function 'normally' again They may be a burden, but it may eventually pay off once things settle down. Anyway, I think it is unlikely for China to want/help both Koreas to be united. What do they gain? if SK breaks ties with US/west, China might 'give' them the north. Impossible. SK is under our dominion. It's not possible for them to "break ties".

All i do hope, is that if it does "kick off" and war breaks out between the two countries, is that when it is all over i hope North and South are run via a parliament and are united again, in other words the dictatorship is destroyed in the North and they are run in the same way as the South. Oh and i hope China just defend their country and stay out of it ![]()

It would just be extremely dumb to do it but I don't doubt they can. They have their own sovereignty so if they want to do something like that, it's up to them. However, typically, if something is that dumb, odds are a democratic country like SK wouldn't do it, obviously :p... especially not in the offchance that China would "give them" NK. NK may not be a very powerful country but flipping it would still be a lot of work and it would be dangerous too.

I believe it's somewhere around 14 stories tall, very impressive piece of technology. We refer to it as the Death Star and all sorts of wild speculations come out about it's capabilities. Pretty neat to see it deployed.
