I'm tempted to lump all of the 3d sonic block into awful games, but a couple of them weren't completely terrible.

The glitches, in some instances, are rather fantastic.

Sorry to tell you this, but you already missed Amnesia. I think it was 2 days ago.

There is plenty left. One of those I would recommended(sure to be blast):
1/10/2013 14:42:00 Starcraft 2 Raelcun 3:30:00 Brutal difficulty
1/10/2013 19:07:00 Portal 2 znernicus 1:35:00
1/11/2013 1:32:00 Dark Souls Kotti 1:45:00
1/11/2013 11:17:00 Final Fantasy IX part 1 puwexil and Spikevegeta 6:00:00
1/12/2013 17:57:00 Final Fantasy IX part 2 puwexil and Spikevegeta 5:00:00

The remaining runs I'm the most excited about (except those you already mentioned) :
Octodad, VVVVVV, OoT Any% by Cosmo (100% is too long for me, though it should be good as well), DMC3 because Flicky, MGS3, and obviously what should be two of the very best games of this marathon that no one should miss under any circumstances : SuperMario64 by Sig and LoZ : The Wind Waker by Cosmo

No he didn't really use the turn thingy at all. They even talked about that for a while. You can do it in almost every turn, you save boosts for that. Again I don't know terms at all, I just played this game when my friend challenged me to become better than him at it for 50€.

For example it's in this very old video by my friend in the first 2 turns. That's a pretty simple advanced technique even I used all the time. I think I didn't see him do it properly once, a few times he did something similiar but didn't do it properly.

Not sure this even counts as a speedrun, it's just a clear imo. Wouldn't be surprised if even I had some better times.

If those are S-turns then he mentioned not doing them because doing them often gives him wrist issues.

I'd tack on the Gimmick! run as well. It was short, but sweet. It may have looked a bit easy, but after watching Cosmo mess around with the game a month or two ago, it just absolutely blew my mind how cleanly Cyghfer ran that overall.

Other than that, have to echo Yoshi's Island and Super Meat Boy runs, which were my favorite runs of the event so far.

There's something extremely satisfying about watching a Sonic run where the player never hits a wall or slows down once.

I believe it's a chrono cross reference, but i'm not certain that's correct, or if there's anything beyond that.

I have no idea how that motion could possibly give wrist issues. You do nothing for like a second.

If you mean snaking that's not what I'm talking about at all. This is an elementary technique for max speed.

He also didn't barely touch the sides of the turbos most of the time and instead went straight to them, and he wasted his turbos by using them all in a row(these were both absolute no-nos I was given).

Was looking forward to F-Z GX, pretty huge disappointment. Hopefully Sonics will be more interesting.

Almost all runs were great. Especially since these guys try to explain and show everything for the sake of the event.
I included only those 4 because they had so far the best commentary and even a total newcomer will appreaciate them because of it. All 4 guys have a different kind of charisma on the stream. I wish I could relate more to the games. but coming from Central Europe I have not played all the old US/Japan consoles.
Today I settled all family business so don't tell me what is imba. Admit what you did.

I know they've also been using French on the Wii since the Donkey Kong Returns run, not sure if they set it up because French was leading this poll option or not, but I know the system has been in French since then.
