- Another girl I had a crush on, who also shares similar interests to me basically blanks me about 90% of the time when I try to talk to her through IM. One time she arranged to meet up with me. I got stood up and despite trying to get back in contact with her, she hasn't talked to me since. At first I chalked this down to FB chat sucking but since the update where you are notified of when the recipient has received and viewed your message, I am def not so sure. I realised she was reading messages but not even spending a few seconds to reply to one at all. Becuase I didn't want to seem creepy, I just stopped talking to her.,

- Finally went out on a date a few weeks ago with someone. Goes well, and she seemed cool with going out again. Then she cuts contact.

Maybe I'm just feeling jealous but out of everyone in my small-ish circle of friends, I am basically the only one that is single and has free time not taken up by a significant other.

The reason many of these girls aren't into you is because you are... don't take this as an insult... desperate. I can see it from your post. I had many of the same problems, but once I stopped caring whether or not I was every going to date girls, I started dating them. It seems weird, but learn to focus on other things in life and you will find whatever girl you want.
