I'd want my leader to interrupt someone at a meeting if they disagreed with their facts, to be honest. Unless you don't believe Biden genuinely believed what he was saying, which I really, really, doubt given how he sounded.

Last time I checked, you don't get to choose what family you're born into. The idea isn't that you are given anything it's no one is holding you back. YOU can go out and get a job and work your way through school. YOU can create a new product. YOU can do pursue your heart's desire like everyone else before you. And just like them the one thing you are guarrenteed is the chance to do it for yourself unimpeded. I think that's fine - except there's quite a lot that impede upon the lower classes' ability to rise amongst the ranks. And I do think the government, over time, has done a lot to remove those impediments. Actually we do a ton to promote growth we have freaking programs to feed anyone who can't feed themselves programs for every medical or school need. What else do you want? Do you want free money do you think everyone should start rich from Bitch 10 million in the bank and a house with a white picket fence no matter what you do? Where does it end? It doesn't that is where at some point you have to work the government isn't here to prevent you from failing it life its to protect your life and insure others are not in your way (by murder or harm)

Does everyone have the opportunity to succeed? Well, I would say that living in a wealthy and a largely free nation is a good definition for "opportunity" in life.

Absolutely nothing. No specifics. Basically, just trust me that the math will work, when all nonpartisan experts says it won't, and only partisan studies, which have been debunked in this thread, says will work, because Rosen ignores the estate tax, assumes massive growth for tax cuts that net to 0 (allegedly), and redefines middle class as 100k.

I guess Romney isn't your guy then. re: laughter. I don't know. The smile had more to do with incredulity with what he was hearing rather than condenscending. Also. Do these political shows actually analyze anything anymore or do they just follow whatever is trending on twitter/ memes created? Screw twitter.

Woah, this is pretty heavily moving the goalposts now. Your definition automatically means you're right now unless an entirely different sphere of evidence is brought in. But we should probably just agree to disagree here, because no progress can be made on an untestable hypothesis without radical frame of mind change by one of the two parties involved.

Everyone has the same opportunity he just like the white kid's parents who worked hard FOR THE SPECIFIC REASON that their kid would not have to go through the trials and tribulations they did.
