Weren't like.....elections in the 18th century brutal? Didn't Andrew Jackson's wife commit suicide over allegations from an opposing campaign? :[
Why everyone so mad? D: So what if it's brutal. Romney deserved to get wrecked by attacks for his lies, flip-flops and vagueness. It's not just about re-electing Obama, it's also about preventing Romney being elected.
No, no, that's not the point.
The point is it's not brutal at all.

Probably been said already, but wow Romney must really idolize Fantasy o.o

He's probably compiling his concession speech.

Obama just projected to win VA. Romney needs to go ahead and concede.

lol, you're so much more passionate about this than a lot of Americans are. It's been a nice thread with you! I dub thee an honorary Amurrcan.

Haha, BBC news a reporter goes to interview two people sitting on a couch saying they have "different views"
One on the left is a white woman, 60+
One on the right is a black young man, probably about 20 and clearly gay
I WONDER WHICH ONE IS THE REPUBLICAN
and the woman just called the US communist, lol

And why didn't he have this alrdy written out? Was he really so confident that he had no backup plan to adjust for the ONLY OTHER OUTCOME.

98604(50%) - Bachmann 98484(50%) - Graves 58.2% reporting
Its mindbogglingly close. Mindboggling because 50% of the voters have voted for Bachmann so far.

It's been basically 2 hours since the race was called. I could understand if you held out hope when there was still a chance. There is no chance and you knew this night would end one of two ways. I actually respect McCain a little for conceding really soon after being informed.
At this point it literally is like floating your buildings to a corner.

If it's true one wasn't written it's probably an election day superstition that he has. Like the President playing basketball on election days.
I'm sure his speechwriters had something sketched out.
