If Obama is the man that America has chosen, then Obama is the man they will get, and the man they deserve. Let it be that he is everything you have all said that he is, for all our sakes. I predicted a large win. I'll own it. I was wrong. The polls weren't biased. The Democrats weren't lying. I would like to blame this on the media, and on the education system, and on all those things which, in my opinion, should prevent what has just occurred. But it is not the fault of the media, nor the system. It is the fault of Republicans and conservatives. Our failures are somewhat out of my reach to understand, though I recognize their existence. Sadly, you will not be getting a picture. Instead, I'll give you an honest appraisal: You've won a great victory for your side. It's a sad day for me, lads, and a happy one for you. Cheers and good fun. I think I'm gonna take a nice, long break and take a nice, long look at who I am and where I am. Until we meet again, keep the faith. The GOP needs a new platform. Straight-up. There's a need for American conservatism. But the GOP is not that party anymore. It's some weird mish-mash of Neocon agendas, xenophobia and bible-thumping.

Yeah couldn't have said it better myself. It's disgusting to me as a registered independent that every national election I default to Democrats because the Republican party puts out lunatics.

Lots of panic and denial but One person had a great comment in there, "Romney was too nice." He kind of was near the end. He was rah-rah-rah in the first debate and Obama looked a little flustered, but then Romney kind of let off the gas and Obama got in some nice chin shots about sending work overseas and shut, and Romney just kept looking down. If you give Obama an ounce of momentum he's unstoppable.

Don't think losing against an incumbent by 1% is a signal the party is doomed or something; talk about an overreaction.
