I'm in NJ and a couple people at the polling center gave me props for going out and voting, He said only 6 young people had been there so far at 11:00AM (I'm 22). I waited in line for about 10-15min. People said they had never seen a line there before but this is likely because people are still home and out of work due to hurricane Sandy.

Just you know, fair warning, tonight will only be preliminary and the whole thing is probably going to take the rest of the week to decide iKill.

A couple tiny NH towns voted already and these are the results. http://m.usatoday.com/article/news/1685083

Compare this to Romney or other Republicans who believe the fiscal cliff will wreck the economy, while at the same time believing that stimulus is bad and that deficits are bad. Such a belief is self-contradictory and completely hypocritical.
I don't think hitting the cliff is a good idea. I think deficit hawks (which I'm not) should be saddened that neither party is willing to actually go through with it. Yes, I agree. I've asked that question probably ten times in this thread and no one has been able to answer. No Republican here is able to explain their hypocrisy on the fiscal cliff. That's one reason why people shouldn't vote for Romney. Wanting to cut the deficit doesn't necessarily supersede all other considerations.
For example if you want to cut your own household budget because you are racking up too much debt you wouldn't want to stop heating your house in the winter. That's not hypocritical - that's smart.
Similarly, no-one is happy with the fiscal cliff - both from the standpoint of its composition and its timetable. So the only way someone is being hypocritical is if they have taken the stance of opposing the deficit "by any means necessary" - a stance that is taken by a very minority of people.

For my birthday, I would like some democracy.

Interesting results going into the day in Ohio. The margins of error still make it kind of a toss up, but Mitt's auto bail out might have hurt him a bit more in the state

When is this starting? Like when will they tally the votes?

So the only way someone is being hypocritical is if they have taken the stance of opposing the deficit "by any means necessary" - a stance that is taken by a very minority of people. Everyone wants to cut the deficit eventually.
It make sense that some people think that massively reducing the deficit quickly is bad, that we should do it slowly, and that not all cuts are good, which is what you're basically saying. But the logic leading that person to believe that massively cutting the deficit in the short term is bad for the economy, also implies that increasing the deficit in the short term is good for the economy.
Therefore, the hypocritical Republican position I'm talking about is believing: 1) Hitting the fiscal cliff is bad because it massively reduces the deficit through spending and tax cuts while the economy is still in a recession. 2) A large increase to the deficit by increasing spending in a recession will not stimulate the economy.
Simultaneously holding both beliefs makes no sense to me.

This is pretty much my favorite resource for US election coverage and what I'll be using because I don't have a TV.

Even RCP has Obama winning all battleground states except NC and FL, that's 305 EV for Obama. And I believe this is the most likely outcome.
The next most likely outcome is probably as above but with Obama winning FL instead. Nate Silver puts the probability of Obama winning FL as exactly 50% currently.

Seems like the case to me. I love this site for the sheer aggregate data. Today's polls as they come in as well. Virginia is looking a bit more competitive.

Just got home from voting. According to the poll workers I was talking to. my polling place (suburban Atlanta) had an hour to an hour and a half wait before work. It took me about 15 minutes.
When I looked at the ballots last night pretty much all of my local races were uncontested, however a lot of Libertarian candidates showed up on the voting machine so I was happy to encourage growing a third party locally instead of waiting for a big presidential candidate to come along and elevate a third party.
While I voted for Romney, I expect the President to win. Besides voting for him, I hope that Romney wins just so I can watch the explosion on MSNBC.

The explosion on TL would probably be more entertaining. You'd hear vote fraud and conspiracy claims for months. But I don't think we are that lucky.

You know, I'm pretty damn sure Obama will win. Romney isn't ready.

I was just about to ask this question so re-quoting so more people find it. And also posing a follow-up question:
Will PBS do a full-time cover-type show or did you just mean that they will post news updates every hour or something?
