I have really really small wrists and I was wondering what kind of watch size would be okay. Did a jank measurement of my wrist with a disposable chopstick paper cover marked from a ruler thing online and I'm slightly under 6 inches in circumference on my wrist. What kind of face diameter and/or lug-to-lug size should I be looking at? I've been looking at a Seiko (SKA659) but it says it's 42 mm face and that it's 50 mm from lug-to-lug. Would it be able to fit? If not, any chance there are similar watches that still look pretty sharp? I've found most of the smaller ones to be quite a bit less nice-looking ![]() Thanks so much!

A bowtie, if you're trendy I'd defer to your usual dadcore websites (put this on, die workwear, a suitable wardrobe, etc) as well. Which reminds me I wanna put together a beach style guide for my inevitable beach wedding.

Don't bowties look like they are choking big dudes? Imagine The Rock in a bow tie.

Definitely recommend trying on different watch sizes even if the watch itself isn't one you're interesting in buying. Good luck! ![]()

Imagine The Rock in a bow tie. its a beach wedding though isnt it? i wouldn't even wear a normal shirt, just a linen one. ties need jacket. aesthetically, the tie is just a straight line that leads eyes to your face, so without the neckline of the jacket it's just a big distraction. I mean, not a big deal but i'm a proponent of that. i glossed over the bigness part hah sorry. i think linen over knit, mostly because knit ties tend to be slimmer, which wouldn't complement your build well. depend on the bowtie. here's a not skinny guy wearing a bowtie (http://beehive.govt.nz/sites/all/files/imagecache/thumb_huge/images/MD_bowtie_PM.jpg) its small enough that it looks like an accessory and not like, a thing on your neck.

just an example. the look isn't important, rather the proportion of the tie to his body/chest/collar/face and the way it looks like an accessory and draws attention to his face (through the balance of black bottom -> white shirt -> black bowtie right under the head to bring your eye to it, contrasted to the red jacket).
