The strong majority of threads about something bad happening as a result of people's actions has to do with China. This is a tragedy, but shit like this happens anytime, anywhere. It isn't exclusive to just China. I know, from experience, there's a fair chance there's going to be some sinophobic posts in this thread like there are in every other one concerning China. Already, there's a bit of a slant in the OP, such as this statement: as if Americans are high-class mannered folks and Chinese are evil and barbaric (lol). No, this phenomenon is not barbaric in the US. I've heard it happen plenty of times and even seen it happen (I've usually gone to the rescue in those several occasions, and in one case I was even indicted as the perpetrator even when the victim vouched for me... it took above-godly tact and argumentation to get out of that pickle), despite the "Good Samaritan" law. People getting beat up, shot, hit by vehicles, you name it. The best I've seen or heard of is something calling an ambulance and then going along their way, by strangers that is (obviously a family member or good friend is going to be of some serious assistance). Hell what am I saying? Just a couple months ago, a relative was at a gas station in the evening, got assaulted, tried to fight back and was shot a few times (and the thugs left), and people still came to the gas station and didn't do shit, the people/employees inside the store didn't do shit. She had to crawl her way into there and basically show them her condition and to call the police before anyone did anything. Sounds made up, absolutely no valid reason to make this tragedy about you...

If I got in trouble for helping people, I wouldn't help anyone ever again. In other words, you understand those who let a child die to avoid some personal trouble.

To the OP, it may be wise to put up a clearer warning of the graphic content that the video shows, that this isn't something you want, for example, your little son or daughter to see by mistake as you watch it. Just some advice.

I'm just showing that stuff like this isn't exclusive to China, and similar scenarios most certainly exist in the US as well (countering the OP's delusional point that this would be barbaric over here). Don't be a dick making fun of people who have been shot, btw. Manners are a useful skill to have. You're most likely the kind of guy who tells soldiers who were wounded in combat they're making up the fact that they were wounded. Nice going. On second thought, while that would be pretty f'd up, it's not as bad as saying that a regular lady getting shot by dumbfucks is made up, which you just did. People nowadays...

If I was there (hypothetically) I would call an ambulance, but not physically help the girl because of this. This is the only reasonable action to take. My future life is more important. As much as I would help her, Call me cruel, the most I could probably do is call an ambulance

but instead of pointing your fingers to china and talking stupid better watch in your own neighbourhood, things like that do happen there, too. whats the big difference to people in germany beating up random people in subway stations, whileothers walk by, or to us soldier teams raping 10 year old iraqi girls and killing their family? ah, i see, its on youtube, so everyone can feel like "i am better than this, i surely would be!" better prove it.
